(X-Men 2099#14 (fb) - BTS) - Pacific Rim hyper media czar Danielle Winokus-Ezaki fought for her audiences ever dwindling attention span, often facing off against her biggest rival, media mogul Heinrich Greenstreet. They regularly resorted to corporate warfare to best the other in business dealings.
(X-Men 2099#14 (fb) - BTS) - At an unrevealed point her husband Hiromichi died.
(X-Men 2099#14 (fb) - BTS) - Desperate to remain as young and beautiful as the people she surrounded herself with, Danielle had regular appointments with her plastic surgeon Dr. Kaneko for some touch ups. At an unrevealed point in time she even had him attach rainbow colored non-functional wings attached to her body. She had a zero-gravity chamber installed in the atrium of her Santa Catalina home, allowing her the illusion of flight.
(X-Men 2099#14 - BTS) - Upset he was leveraged out of the Celestialcom buyout, Heinrich Greenstreet hired Glitterspike (Alexi Jaeger) to kill Danielle. Jaeger pretended to have fallen in love with her, leading to a romantic relationship.
(X-Men 2099#14 (fb) - BTS) - Jaeger persuaded Danielle to leave Tokyo to hide out for a few days in her mansion on Santa Catalina. For several days the two lovers enjoyed each other's company while Jaeger prepared to kill her.
(X-Men 2099#14) - On the morning Jaeger planned to end her life, Danielle she was enjoying her zero-gravity chamber. Jaeger put on his zero-g field and propulsion and flew up to her. He then grabbed her tight and took off, breaking through the glass ceiling into the sky above. He asked Danielle if she was scared, but she was too overcome with excitement to respond. She tried to kiss him, but before her lips met his, Jaeger used his powers to temporary blind her as he let go of her. Danielle fell from the sky, screaming his name as she hit the shallow waters by the beach near her home. She was dead on impact.
(X-Men 2099#14 (fb) - BTS) - The following morning, Danielle's corpse was found and dragged out of Santa Monica Bay.
