History: (Captain America I#255 (fb)/Captain America & the Invaders: The
Bahamas Triangle#1) - As Captain America was defeating a group of
home-grown Nazis led by Fritz Klein-Schmidt, Agent McCloskey led a
group of FBI agents to apprehend the Nazis. Finding that Captain
America had defeated most of them, McCloskey ordered his men to have
Agent O'Brien bring the "wagon" around so they could arrest the Nazi
agents. When Fritz Klein-Schmidt made a run for it and Captain America
gave chase, McCloskey and his agents caught up to Cap just as Cap
knocked out Klein-Schmidt. McCloskey apprehended the remaining Nazi
agents and remarked that if they had more agents like Cap, they could
cut espionage by half.
(Captain America & the Invaders: The Bahamas Triangle#1) - As Captain America was straightening up his
mask, McCloskey informed Captain America that the FBI had received word
that he was to take Cap to LaGuardia Field to catch a plane. Once
inside the FBI squad car, McCloskey informed Captain America that the
plane would take Cap to Fort Lauderdale, Florida for an undercover
mission guarding President Franklin D. Roosevelt, who wanted to meet
with the Duke of Windsor in the Bahamas while disguising the meeting as
a fishing trip. The two soon arrived at LaGuardia Field and McCloskey
said his goodbyes to Cap, reminding him that his sailor disguise would
be on the plane.
