History: (Daredevil I#298) – After Nick Fury finished interviewing Matt Murdock, Agent Rother was assigned to knock Murdock out with gas and take him outside to keep the location of the S.H.I.E.L.D. base secret. Rother fired up his gas gun but Murdock got the upper hand and knocked Rother out. Rother was tied up and left to be found by the other agents.
