History:
(Royals#8 (fb) - BTS) - After undergoing Amphogenesis, Aladi Ko Eke developed retractable horns and claws.
(Fantastic Four I#577 (fb) - BTS) - Aladi Ko Eke rose to power as the Queen of the Fifth Caste, or the Moord Council, of the Badoon Inhumans. Her subjects numbered as 17.250 (9,250 males, 8000 females).
(Fantastic Four I#577 (fb) - BTS) - The group of the Fifth Caste was rejected by the wider Badoon society, so they joined together with other races of alien Inhumans, including those of the Kymellian, Centauri and Dire Wraiths, and they formed the Universal Inhumans. The four royal families governed their thousands of followers aboard the Universal City, a flying city. The four queens, including Oola Udonta, Onomi Whitemane, and Avoe knew of an old prophecy that all of them had a genetic marker within them that represented a divine duty they had to pledge themselves to the long-foretold Midnight King, Black Bolt of Earth.
(FF I#6 (fb) - BTS) - When Black Bolt was seemingly killed on Earth, the four queens sensed it and cried out in pain, worrying that all was lost.
(Fantastic Four I#577) - The Universal City landed on Earth's Moon, where they were greeted by Wayfinder, who had been left there by Earth's Inhumans to greet them. The Fantastic Four soon visited and met the four queens. Wayfinder predicted they would all soon form a new society on Earth.
(FF I#3) - Professor R, an alternate Reed Richards, approached the Universal Inhumans, making an offer to aid them if they allowed he and his allies access to certain areas of the Blue Area of the Moon. The four queens sat listening as Arris, a Centauri telepath, realized the man was lying. One of the Direst Wraiths killed Professor R, absorbing his memories and realizing that he and his allies posed a terrible danger. The Universal Inhumans readied themselves for war.
(FF I#7 (fb) - BTS) - The Universal Inhumans captured a rogue Kree, who told them about Black Bolt's return, and they realized the Kree threatened them and their plans.
(FF I#7) - After the queens contemplated the threat of the Kree, Black Bolt returned through a portal and Wayfinder showed him in. The queens acknowledged Black Bolt's superiority, promising him marriage and sons as was possible.
(FF I#8) - At Black Bolt's orders, the Universal Inhumans took the Universal City, along with the city of Avalon, and declared war on the Forever City of the High Evolutionary.
(FF I#9) - Medusa and Lockjaw brought Mr. Fantastic, Spider-Man, and Nathaniel Richards to Attilan, where Black Bolt, flanked by his other four wives, told the heroes to not interfere with the plans of the Inhumans.
(Fantastic Four I#600/1) - The forces of the Universal Inhumans in Attilan were attacked by a vast armada of Kree ships and soldiers. The Inhumans were overwhelmed by the Kree and Medusa recommended they flee, but Black Bolt ordered them to hold their ground.
(FF I#20) - The Light Brigade returned home from a mission to the Negative Zone, triumphant over Annihilus, and the queens of the Universal Inhumans greeted them.
(FF II#1) - The four queens stood by as Medusa greeted Crystal and the Invisible Woman.
(New Avengers III#7) - The four queens and Medusa wondered where Black Bolt was, as they heard about threats pending from space.
(Infinity#1 (fb) - BTS) - Rifts in the house of Black Bolt began to show as he and Medusa began fighting and sleeping in different rooms. It was reported that, of his four alien wives, he loved one, hated one, and was indifferent to the others.
(Royals#6 (fb) - BTS) - Unable to find welcome on their home planets, the four queens of the Universal Inhumans relocated their peoples to the city of Novahala, on the continent of Akuunos on Centauri-IV.
(Royals#8 (fb) - BTS) - A mysterious Skyspear landed on Centauri-IV in the Great Desert, concerning the queens, and they kept it a secret from their people. They called it the Obelisk.
(Royals#8 (fb) ) - Moonlight Eye of the White Room, who had the power of "sight beyond sight" examined the Obelisk and it took possession of him and his gifts and forced him to repel all who approached. It eventually consumed Moonlight Eye, leaving him dead.
(Royals#8 (fb) - BTS) - The Universal Inhumans began translating runes that randomly appeared on the Obelisk, discovering a Wraith-Mark that meant "look to find" and a word in Old Kymellian that meant "seed" or "fruit".
(Royals#6) - The four queens saw the arrival of a delegation of Earth's Inhumans (Medusa, Gorgon, Crystal, Flint, Swain, Maximus) and Marvel Boy, as the Light Brigade watched. When Medusa admitted she had banished Black Bolt to a forbidden prison and was now dying, the queens were shocked, and Medusa convinced them that Maximus was her prisoner and could only die when she did. The Inhumans showed the queens evidence of the Skyspears, and shared their theories that the spears were sent by the Progenitors, or the space-gods that created the Kree.
(Royals#7) - The Inhuman queens, who still felt disdain toward Medusa for imprisoning Black Bolt, took Medusa, the captive Maximus, and Marvel Boy to the Obelisk and told of their research. When Medusa told them that the Skyspear they had researched on Earth had shown them a sigil meaning genocide, they agreed to let Maximus examine it, but he took hold of Oola Udonta's mind, forcing her to use her telekinesis to throw Marvel Boy into the Obelisk.
(Royals#8) - Hyinar, Koyoti, and Dyngo, of the Snarks, attacked the queens at the Obelisk. Maximus took mental control of the queens, taking over their own powers. Hyinar used Swain's skills to block Maximus' powers, then seized control of them himself using All-Knowing's power. The Light Brigade remained in stasis until Gorgon escaped and set them free. Gorgon and the other captives escaped and Koyoti used Sun's powers to kill Metallic Titan before Medusa killed Koyoti with an energy gun. Flint touched the Obelisk, boosting his powers, and then he crushed the Snarks with a large rock.
(Death of Inhumans#1 (fb) - BTS) - The Kree, led by Vox, declared war on all Inhuman races, including with a deadly attack on New Arctilan. The Universal Inhumans made plans for a summit on a remote planet where they would meet Black Bolt to vote on whether to declare war on the Kree Empire or surrender. Believing the forces of the Kree were too vast, the four queens were voting to surrender before Black Bolt arrived, but Vox saw this as a weakness, so he killed all four queens and their envoys.
(Death of Inhumans#1) - Black Bolt and his allies discovered the mutilated corpses of the four queens. Shortly after, one Universal Inhuman who had been left alive detonated from a Vox-made bomb in her chest, and the bodies of the queens were seemingly destroyed.
Comments: Created by Jonathan Hickman and Dale Eaglesham.
The dynamic between Black Bolt and his queens has remained a bit undefined, though they all offered to bear him sons once. None are seen to spend any direct time with him, and they always appear as a group. Any animosity between the queens, particularly Medusa, also remains largely unexplored. Aladi Ko Eke has the same surname as Dara Ko Eke, the All-Knowing of the Light Brigade, but there is no revealed relationship between the two of them. The Badoon Inhumans were called the Fifth Caste, the Moord Council, and the Moord.
Much of Aladi Ko Eke's character, history, and powers remains unrevealed as well.
