History: (Jessica Jones: Purple Daughter#1) – Jessica Jones showed up at the Killgrave Support Group meeting, where she heard victims of the Purple Man share their survival stories, including Betty. When Anna tried sharing, Jessica called her out for being a fake and Jessica was thrown out as a result. Jessica later followed Anna, who attacked Jessica, not realizing she was super-strong. After Anna threw dirt in Jessica’s face and tried to choke her out, Jessica got the upper hand on Anna, who flew away to escape.

(Jessica Jones: Purple Daughter#2 (fb) - BTS) - Anna committed suicide by jumping off a building. Her body was found and news given back to her parents.

There was no clear back story given to Anna but there was a wider story arc happening. Jessica's daughter, Danielle Cage, had turned purple and Jessica was investigating. She eventually used Kara Killgrave and the Purple Kids to find Benjamin Killgrave, the Purple Son, who was keeping the Purple Man hostage and draining his blood. Anna's death could have been commanded by any of these purple characters and they also could have been forcing Anna to attend those support group meetings. It is also possible that Anna either was a victim of Killgrave, thus her reason for going to the support group and that her suicide was legitimate.
