History:
(Daredevil I#291 (fb) - BTS) - Buck Cashman (the super-powered mercenary Bullet) fathered a child with Gloria, but Bullet took custody of the child.
(Daredevil I#250 (fb) - BTS) - Lance was put in his own apartment and kept there. Buck kept him stocked with food, visited frequently, and paid the bills. Lance saw his father grow angry sometimes and be sweet other times. Obsessed with protecting themselves from nuclear fallout, Lance boarded the place up and stocked it with canned goods and non-perishable foods.
(Daredevil I#252 (fb) - BTS) - Bullet taught Lance how to fight and use a gun.
(Daredevil I#267 (fb) - BTS) - Bullet took several assignments overseas, gone for months at a time, leaving Lance to fend for himself.
(Daredevil I#250 (fb) - BTS) - Lance's teacher, a survivor of Hiroshima, gave the class the assignment of drawing the world after a nuclear war. Lance colored a paper all black.
(Daredevil I#250) - In class with students like Billy and Suzie, Lance Cashman heard his teacher talk about Hiroshima and the devastations of nuclear war. After class was dismissed, Lance sat there in shock. Later, at home, Lance made his father a sandwich. When Bullet came over, Lance made sure he was in a good mood, then showed him all the work he was doing. Lance asked his dad to come live with him, but Bullet said he would go mad. Bullet nearly left when Lance began talking of the nuclear bombs, but he agreed to stay and spend the evening with him.
(Daredevil I#251 (fb) - BTS) - Lance was left alone for days. He kept obsessing over nuclear winter.
(Daredevil I#251) - Bullet finally came over and Lance grew concerned about the toxic waste Bullet had on his hands after an assignment. When Bullet asked Lance to lie for him, Lance said he couldn't lie, and Bullet left in anger. Lance put on a gas mask by himself. The next night, Bullet took Lance with him to the Last Exit Bar, where Lance watched his dad play pool. Daredevil came in and accused Bullet of murder the previous evening. Lance initially lied to give his dad an alibi, but he immediately regretted it, realizing that his dad was bad and now he was as well. Bullet was soon arrested for murder.
(Daredevil I#252) - Lance was watching happy news on the television as Bullet yelled that happy news was all fake. When the power went out during an attack on New York City, Lance panicked, assuming nuclear war was breaking out. As he cried, Bullet left to see what was going on. Later, the power came back on and Lance saw the world hadn't ended.
(Daredevil I#259) - Lance was welding in his apartment, thinking about surviving nuclear winter, when Typhoid Mary showed up. Startled, he flashed his torch at her, but she grabbed it, then lit candles with her pyrokinetic powers. Mary was impressed with Lance's collection of freeze-dried foods and supplies, then she told him that no matter what the other adults said, the world could end any moment. Lance responded with anxiety, but Bullet rushed in and threatened Mary, until she threatened to kill Lance with a telekinetically-controlled blade. Mary convinced Bullet to go after Daredevil with her, and he asked her to stay for a while.
(Daredevil I#267) - Lance wore his gas mask in public and kids teased him until Daredevil showed up and the kids scattered. Lance showed Daredevil his shelter, where he was working on better defenses in the form of barriers and weapons. Lance mounted a gun using chewing gum as he asked if Daredevil was friends with Bullet. As Lance cut his hands unspooling barbed wire, Daredevil admitted he had come to fight with Bullet, but he said he wouldn't. Just then, Bullet arrived and attacked, knocking over Lance's boxes of supplies. Lance fired a gun in the air to break up the fight, and Daredevil left peacefully.
(Daredevil I#291 (fb) - BTS) - Lance befriended a girl his age, Eva, and invited her over.
(Daredevil I#291) - Lance gave Eva her own radiation suit and talked to her about wars in the Middle East and preparing for the coming nuclear apocalypse. When she asked for food, she was grossed out when he offered army rations. Bullet was furious when Lance's mother, Gloria, failed to show to pick him up for a weekend. Bullet blew up and threw Lance's friend Eva out, but then he hugged Lance and apologized for losing his temper.
(Bullseye I#5 (fb) - BTS) - Lance was pulled into the foster care system, and Bullet began launching plans to get money to get Lance back.
(Bullseye I#3 (fb) - BTS) - Bullet moved to Columbia, unable to return to the states due to his criminal record. Years went by and he was unable to see Lance, who ended up in Scarsdale.
(Bullseye I#5) - Lance interacted with kids at his school in Scarsdale, not knowing his father was watching from a nearby car.
(Old Man Logan II#44 (fb) - BTS) - Bullseye kidnapped Lance from his school, in a plot to use him against Bullet.
(Old Man Logan II#45 (fb) - BTS) - Bullseye killed Lance.
(Old Man Logan II#45 - BTS) - Glob Herman found Lance's body.
(Daredevil VII#6 (fb) - BTS) - Bullet actually faked Lance's death, then put his boy in hiding, pretending Lance was dead to keep villains away from him.
(Daredevil VII#7) - As Bullet was returning to live with Lance, the Hand attacked, kidnapping them both. Bullet was then killed and resurrected to serve the Hand.
(Daredevil VII#8) - Lance cried in a corner while the Fist did battle with the Hand to save him. Cole North found Lance, strapped him to his back with a shield to protect him, then fought his way to safety.
(Daredevil VII#9) - Doc Sasquatch returned Bullet and Lance Cashman to New York City to get their lives back.
