(Daredevil I#339 (fb) - BTS) - Cogger was running numbers for criminal Half-Nose Bobby in Jersey City years ago when Kingpin rose to power. He admired the Kingpin and came to work for him later. Cogger met Kingpin's frightening ally, Victor Krueller.
(Daredevil I#338) - At Inveigle's Auto Yard in Brooklyn, Cogger and Marko worked on processing stolen cars as more were ready to come in. Marko loudly complained about the work conditions and pay. Marko revealed he had sold computer chips to their regular customer Tegrotti, instead of new buyer Norombi, directly disobeying Kingpin's orders. Marko was insulting Kingpin's size and business when Kingpin entered, crushing Marko's head with an engine block. Kingpin explained his business plans, and told Cogger to see about donating Marko's blood to the blood bank.
(Daredevil I#339) - Cogger provided a report to Kingpin about the stolen cars, then reminisced about the old days. When Cogger mentioned Krueller, Kingpin's mood shifted and Cogger quickly left.
(Daredevil I#340) - Cogger showed in councilman William Robins to Kingpin's office.
(Daredevil I#341) - Cogger took a call for Kingpin from Quon-Shek of the Asian Tongs gang, but Kingpin refused the call. Then Daredevil attacked Kingpin outside.
