    at least one existed on Earth

Known Members: None identified;
    we only saw one, and the population is unrevealed

Affiliations: Presumably used by Sakaarian Imperials

Enemies: Likely used in gladiatorial combat against numerous opponents

First Appearance: World War Hulk: Front Line#4 (November, 2007)

Powers/Abilities: The Demon Shrikes are powerful and fierce creatures. One slew a lion (see comments) in nine seconds.

    They possess an armored carapace with spiked ridges on their backs. They are relatively low to the ground, with broad limbs, each ending in three sharp talons. They have four large, fanged teeth at the front of their upper jaw (maxilla) and perhaps twelve sharp teeth spanning their lower jaws (mandibles).and a forked, somewhat scorpion-like tail

Traits:The Demon Shrikes are fierce and deadly creatures.

Type: Bilaterally symmetric (possibly reptillian, arthropod, or something else) quadrupeds
Eyes: Apparently six (on head; solid yellow seen)
Toes: Apparently three toes per foot
Skin color: Brown
Average length: Approximately 8-10' long
Average height at shoulder: Approximately 2-3'
Average weight: Approximatley 500 lbs.

History:

(World War Hulk: Front Line#4 (fb) - BTS) - When the Warbound and their associates traveled from Earth to Sakaar, they brought with them at least one of the Demon Shrikes with them.

(World War Hulk: Front Line#4) - After the Hulk had defeated and captured the Illuminati and prepared to force them to fight in Madison Square Garden, they had a warm-up match with a Demon Shrike set to challenge a terrestrial lion.

(World War Hulk: Front Line#4 - BTS) -The Demon Shrike slew the lion in exactly nine seconds.

Comments: Paul Jenkins and Ramon F.Bachs.

    The lion who had lived its life in the zoo had no idea what was happening in the arena. It was sitting there licking its paw, and the Demon Shrike leapt at it when it wasn't looking.

    We don't know for sure that the Demon Shrikes were native to Sakaar or not...they may have been brought there by the Great Portal wormhole at any point.
