History: (Captain America VIII#695) - While on a field trip to the local police station, Donna's elementary school class were taken as hostages by the terrorist group Rampart. Captain America soon arrived and got the class to safety but the teacher quickly noticed Donna and another student, Jacob, were missing. Finding the students under a desk, Captain America explained that he had an important task for Donna: to protect the smaller Jacob. When Donna asked why, Cap replied that it was because Jacob was smaller than her and, after taking down some Rampart goons, Cap returned. Donna soon noticed one of the goons about to fire on Cap and stood in front of his shield to protect Captain America but Cap stepped in the way and instead protected Donna, reminding her that he had to protect her because he was bigger. Cap then draped a broken American flag around Donna, who asked if Cap was Rip Van Winkle upon hearing that he had recently awoken from a very long nap. Cap politely said "no" and told Donna that she had done good today, excepting the running into a firefight part, and thanked her for the assistance. Donna and Jacob were then returned to their teacher as Captain America departed Bouton.
