Reality-14116
Type: Alternate Reality (Reality-14116)
Environment: Presumably standard Earth-like;
only K'un-Lun was glimpsed (and only its periphery was shown)
Usual means of access: Vibrational attunement
Dominant Life Form: Presumably similar to Reality-616
Significant Inhabitants: Harold Meachum, Danny Rand, Heather Rand, Wendell Rand, Sparrow
Significant Locations: Earth;
K'un-Lun: "Tree of Immortality" (unidentified)
First Appearance: Iron Fist: The Living Weapon#6 (November, 2014)
History:
(Iron Fist: The Living Weapon#6 (fb) - BTS) - Wendell Rand brought his
wife, Heather, his son, Danny, and his business partner, Harold
Meachum, with him as he scaled the Himalayan mountains in
search of the legendary city of K'un-Lun.
Wendell Rand fell down into a crevice; and Danny, at least, thought he had died.
K'un-Lun's guards apparently observed Wendell's
fall, and they sent down a team to save Harold, Heather, and Danny and
bring them to K'un-Lun; they also recovered Wendell and brought him to K'un-Lun.
(Iron Fist: The Living Weapon#6) - Sparrow awakened Danny, telling
him that his father would be excited to see him. Surprised that his dad
had lived, Daniel ran to him, where he sat under the "Tree of
Immortality" (what it was called in Reality-616's K'un-Lun). Ecstatic, Wendell picked Danny up over his head, telling him they had
found "forever." When Danny asked about his mother, Wendell directed him where to find her.
See comments
As Danny approached the room where his mother
was, he heard her cry out and thought she was in pain, but he opened
the door to find his mother and Harold in a passionate embrace.
Comments: Created by Kaare Kyle Andrews.
In this reality, unlike -616, both Heather and Wendell Rand survived and were brought to K'un-Lun, as was Harold Meachum.
This reality was glimpsed as a dream by Iron Fist
(Daniel Rand-K'ai) as he was recovering from a beating at the hands of
the One robot.
As always, even though this was a dream, in an infinite multiverse, there would exist a reality that mirrors it. So, either Danny just had a dream, and the profile is on the reality that mirrors that, or, he somehow glimpsed Reality-14116 during his dream.
When Wendell sent Danny to see his mother, he
told Danny to "follow the trail." This looked to be a trail of blood,
representing how, in Reality-616, Heather had been devoured by wolves.
The room in which Harold and Heather were
hibbity-dibbitying appeared externally as solitary door a couple feet
above the snow-covered ground with no visible building around it (you can see the door in Danny's sub-profile).
Additionally, growling wolves were present in the room as Harold and
Heather made...snoo-snoo.
I think these odd images are likely just a part of Daniel-616's
dream, rather than what occurred in Reality-14116, but we'll probably
never know for certain. The snow would represent the snow-covered
mountains outside the portal to K'un-Lun where Heather died in
Reality-616, and, obviously the wolves would represent the wolves that
killed Heather.
Further, presumably just in the dream, Danny went
from being shirtless when he left Sparrow to instantly wearing a parka
as he went through the snow to find Wendell, and then instantly
transitioning into pajamas (with a teddy bear) as he approached Wendell.
Profile by Snood.
CLARIFICATIONS:
No known connection to:
K'un-Lun of Reality-14116
No significant images of K'un-Lun were shown...there was minimal background in Danny's dream version
K'un-Lun is a legendary city of immortality.
Sparrow is the only native shown, but a "team" that rescued the Rands and Harold Meachum are referenced.
(Iron Fist: The Living Weapon#6 (fb) - BTS) - Wendell Rand brought Heather and Harold, as well as his son,
Danny, with him as he scaled the mountains in search of the
legendary city of K'un-Lun (see comments).
Wendell Rand fell down into a crevice.
K'un-Lun's guards apparently observed Wendell's fall, and they sent down a team to save Harold, Heather, and Danny and bring them to K'un-Lun.
K'un-Lun's guards also pulled Wendell up from the crevice.
Recovering, Wendell greeted much of K'un-Lun's population.
(Iron Fist: The Living Weapon#6) - After Sparrow told him of his
father's survival, Danny rushed to greet Wendell, who explained his
survival and sent Danny to check on his mother.
--Iron Fist: The Living Weapon#6
Note: Sparrow noted that "it seems like <Wendell> knows everyone already," presumably indicating he had previously been to K'un-Lun, like his Earth-616 counterpart.
Presumably the history and natives of K'un-Lun-14116 are similar to those of K'un-Lun-616, but I'm only covering those confirmed in-story.
If the guards were truly always watching in each reality, then that would indicate that they let Wendell and Heather die, which might just indicate they didn't want intruders, or they only wanted visitors who could prove their worth by making it through the perils and reaching K'un-Lun...or, perhaps, that Yu-Ti (Nuan) had instructed them not to save either of them as he still saw Wendell as a threat to his power.
In Reality-616, there was/is portal to K'un-Lun on the Himalayan Kunlun mountains, named for their portal to that realm.
See the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe entry on Iron Fist for more information.
Harold "Harry" Meachum of Reality-14116
(Iron Fist: The Living Weapon#6 (fb) - BTS) - Harold Meachum was having an affair with Heather Rand, the wife of his business partner, Wendell, who apparently had some knowledge of this affair.
Apparently due to Heather's wishes, Harold
accompanied Wendell, Heather, and their son, Danny, on a mission to
scale the Himalayan mountains in search of the
legendary city of K'un-Lun. Wendell apparently brought Harold because
Heather wanted this.
(Iron Fist: The Living Weapon#6) - As Harold and Heather engaged in
some passion, Daniel heard Heather cry out and, thinking she was in
pain, opened the door. Oblivious to this, Harold told Heather that she
deserved a man who would take of her...all of her...and that it could
be like this forever.
--Iron Fist: The Living Weapon#6
Note: In Reality-616, Harold
caused Wendell to fall down the crevice. In this Iron Fist series, it was hinted that there was
an affair between Harold and Heather, but it was not confirmed. Heather
cursed him for his betrayal of Wendell and made Danny promise to punish
Harold, who never reached K'un-Lun, and instead lost both of his legs to
frostbite.

(Iron Fist: The Living Weapon#6 (fb) - BTS) - Young Danny Rand
accompanied his parents, Heather and Wendell, as well as Wendell's
business partner and Heather's illicit lover in scaling a mountain in
search of the
legendary city of K'un-Lun.
Wendell Rand fell down into a crevice, and Danny, at least, thought he had died.
K'un-Lun's guards apparently observed Wendell's fall, and they sent down a team to save Harold, Heather, and Danny and bring them to K'un-Lun.
K'un-Lun's guards also pulled Wendell up from the crevice.
Ecstatic, Wendell picked Danny up over his head, telling him they had
found "forever." After Wendell explained how he had been saved, Danny
asked if the trip was so dangerous, why he had brought Danny and
Heather; Wendell answered that he hadn't planned on coming back.
Danny then asked why Mr. Meachum had come along, and Wendell tried to explain that it was because of him and Danny's mother; however, Wendell developed an intense headache (presumably from the concussion from his fall), and he told Danny to ask his mother.

--Iron Fist: The Living Weapon#6
Note: In Reality-616, both of Danny's parents perished, with his mom sacrificing her life to save him from wolves, allowing him to reach K'un-Lun. Danny went on to become the legendary Iron Fist and sought vengeance on Harold. See the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe entry on Iron Fist for more information.
His full name was presumably "Daniel," but he was only called "Danny" in the few pages of this reality.Heather Rand of Reality-14116

(Iron Fist: The Living Weapon#6 (fb) - BTS) - Heather Rand was
having an extramarital affair with Harold Meachum, the business partner
of her husband, Wendell, who apparently had some knowledge of this
affair

(Iron Fist: The Living Weapon#6) - As Heather and Harold engaged in some passion, Danny heard Heather cry out and, thinking she was in pain, opened the door.--Iron Fist: The Living Weapon#6
Note: In Reality-14116, it is not 100% confirmed that Heather and Harold had consummated their relationship prior to their encounter in K'un-Lun, but it seemed like their relationship was the reason Heather wanted him to be there.
In Reality-616, I'm not sure there was a real relationship between the two, but I'll cover that as I update Heather and Harold's profiles with information from this series.

Sparrow commented that Wendell was handsome and that Danny had his father's eyes.
See the main profile and the Tree of Immortality sub-profile for more images of Wendell.
See Wendell Rand-616's profile for further detail on the mainstream version.
Sparrow was a resident of K'un-Lun
(Iron Fist: The Living Weapon#6 (fb) - BTS) - Sparrow encountered and befriended Danny Rand after his arrival in K'un-Lun.
(Iron Fist: The Living Weapon#6 (fb) - BTS) - Sparrow encountered
Wendell Rand after he was rescued and brought to K'un-Lun. She thought
Wendell was very handsome and that he had the same eyes as Danny. She
also felt like it seemed like Wendell already knew everyone in K'un-Lun.
(Iron Fist: The Living Weapon#6) - Sparrow awakened Danny, telling
him that his father would be excited to see him. She also offered him a
cake (biscuit). Danny swiftly rushed off to find his father.
--Iron Fist: The Living Weapon#6
Note: In Reality-616, Sparrow was the daughter/orphan of Orson Randall and the adopted daughter of Lei Kung. After Lei Kung's death, she became the new Yu-Ti (ruler) of K'un-Lun.
In the dream, because Danny had been close friends with Sparrow as a youth in K'un-Lun, he seemed very familiar with her. In Reality-14116, it is not specified how long Danny was in K'un-Lun before he was told of his father's survival, but it's hard to believe it would have been more than a day or so.
Like her Reality-616 counterpart, Sparrow liked to balance things, like a bucket or a tray, on her head.
I'm working on a profile of Sparrow-616, but it will likely be a year or more before it is
complete. OK, it was closer to three years...but here it is, Sparrow-616
"Tree of Immortality" of Reality-14116
The Tree of Immortality apparently bears the
fruit that allows the people of K'un-Lun to achieve virtual immortality.
(Iron Fist: The Living Weapon#6 (fb) - BTS) - Wendell rested
beneath the "Tree of Immortality" after being saved from falling down
into a crevice.
(Iron Fist: The Living Weapon#6) - After learning his father had
survived, Danny found him resting under a tree. Ecstatic, Wendell
picked Danny up over his head, telling him they had
found "forever."When Danny asked about his mother, Wendell sent him off to find her.
