History: (Exiles I#1 (fb) - BTS) - After the government adopted a Zero Tolerance law against mutants and other superhuman beings, Charles Xavier was imprisoned in a Nevada desert detention facility.
(Exiles I#1) - When the reality-hopping Exiles arrived on Earth-1815 with a mission to "find their greatest teacher," they assumed that to be Charles Xavier, who was heroic in their realities. Breaking into Xavier's Nevada detention facility, some of the Exiles distracted the guards while the Exiles Blink and Magnus teleported to Xavier's cell. Finding Xavier covered in restraints to dampen his powers, Magnus performed magnetic microsurgery to remove the wires from Xavier's brain and free him. Once Xavier was freed, Blink teleported the other Exiles outside, where they watched Xavier recover. When he regained consciousness, Xavier telepathically entered the Exiles' minds, learning of their mission before downing the group with a telepathic blast. Proclaiming that he was no teacher of the likes of the Exiles and that he would sooner die than create a world where humans and mutants lived together, Charles Xavier announced that mutants were the next evolutionary step and began his plans to exterminate humanity.
(Exiles I#2 (fb) - BTS) - Charles walked into
Phoenix, Arizona and unleashed his most powerful telepathic blast ever,
rendering everyone in a five mile radius comatose or brain dead.
(Exiles I#2) - As Xavier
continued his rampage, the Exiles recovered in a hotel and were now
assured this Xavier was not the man they knew from their home
realities. Breaking into the Mountridge prison facility, Xavier freed
his stepbrother Cain Marko and soon assembled his X-Men team of
superhuman terrorists. Xavier and his X-Men soon attacked the New York
Stock Exchange, drawing the attention of the Exiles, who had protected
themselves from Xavier's powers using disrupter technology. During the
ensuing battle, the Exiles' Morph hit Xavier with a power dampener but
the X-Man Domino removed it before Xavier was personally confronted by
the Exiles' Mimic. Reading Mimic's mind, Xavier taunted Mimic with
Mimic's own thoughts of his reality's Xavier. When Xavier insisted that
he was a necessary evil to bring about a greater good, Mimic fought
against Xavier's telepathic assault and reluctantly stabbed his claws
through Xavier's head, killing him.
