his front grill to either resemble teeth while speaking or a "SPIDEY"
vanity license plate when acting a normal vehicle.

History:
(Secret Wars: Official Guide to the Marvel Multiverse - Spider-Verse
entry - BTS) - The sentient Spider-Mobile vehicle, whose real name was
Peter Parkedcar, was native to Earth-53931.
(Amazing Spider-Man III#12 (fb) - BTS) - Spider-Mobile was recruited from Earth-53931 to join Miles Morales' Web-Warriors subgroup against the Earth-001 vampiric Inheritors.
(Amazing Spider-Man III#12) - Joining the Web-Warriors, Spider-Mobile provided transportation as several police helicopters gave chase and ordered the group to pull over. During the pursuit, Earth-12041's Spider-Man asked Miles Morales if he wanted to drive and Spider-Mobile replied that Spider-Man-12041 wasn't even driving himself and implied that he was the one controlling himself. Spider-Mobile then asked Miles to go ahead and open the dimensional portal to their next reality destination. Miles did just that and Spider-Mobile drove the Web-Warriors through the portal.
(Amazing Spider-Man III#13) - Spider-Mobile continued
providing transportation to the Web-Warriors as Earth-616's Spider-Man
communicated to all of his allies that his group of multiversal
Spider-Man was heading to Earth-001. When Earth-1610's Black Widow
reported back that she was stuck in the Inheritor Jennix's base, Miles
Morales reported in from Spider-Mobile that his team of Web-Warriors
would swing by and pick up Black Widow-1610.
(Amazing Spider-Man III#14) - While battling four
Inheritors, Earth-616's Spider-Man gave Miles Morales the word and a
portal opened with Miles driving Spider-Mobile to lead the way for the
other Web-Warriors to assist against the Inheritors.
(Amazing Spider-Man III#15) - Following the
Inheritors' defeat, Spider-Mobile stood by as several of the assembled
Spider-totems from across the Multiverse were returned to their home
realities.
Comments: Created by Dan Slott, Giuseppe Camuncoli and Cam Smith.
The sentient, sputtering Spider-Mobile is likely an homage to the Hanna-Barbera cartoon series, Speed Buggy.
While not clarified in Amazing Spider-Man III#12,
it's possible that the reality we see Spider-Mobile and the
Web-Warriors being pursued by police helicopters in is Spider-Mobile's
home reality of Spider-Mobile, as the helicopters recognized
Spider-Mobile. Then again, it could be just that they recognized the
vehicle and not specifically the sentient Spider-Mobile...
