History: (Cable & Deadpool I#46 (fb) - BTS) -
At
some point, Deadpool gained a suit of Iron Man-like armor and
confronted Doctor Doom (Bob Dobalina).
(Cable & Deadpool I#46) - Earth-97166's Deadpool was seen battling Doctor Doom by Deadpool and Hydra Bob of Earth-616 when they were attempting to travel through time to return to Earth-616's present day
(Deadpool Kills Deadpool I#4) - Earth-97166's armored Deadpool was recruited by Dreadpool of Earth-12101 into his Evil Deadpool Corps. He was one of the many Deadpools who tried to kill Deadpool of Earth-616 and Pandapool of Earth-51315, but was killed by The Fool of 11542, Squirrelpool of Earth-41652, Chibipool of Earth-31539, Knightpool of Earth-13415, Hawkeyepool of Earth-17238 and Grootpool of Earth-77281.
Comments: Created by Fabian Nicieza, Reilly
Brown and Jeremy Freeman.
Deadpool's physical stats are
approximated from that
of
his Earth-616 counterpart. Since Tony Stark gains 5 inches and 200
lbs. when he dons most versions of his armor, we've ASSumed the same
increases for the armored version of Deadpool. - Loki
The character is never identified so
I'm unsure if he
would have gone by Iron Man or Deadpool, though his armor contains the
Deadpool logo so for that reason the article will stick with the
Deadpool alias. I'd lay odds on Ironpool. And Bob Doom. - Loki
The Iron Man-like armor-wearing Deadpool seen in Deadpool Kills Deadpool I#4 could be a different Deadpool than the one from Cable & Deadpool I#46 due to the armors being a different color. This however, could also just be a miscoloring, so until something else clarifies this, these will be treated as the same character.
