Powers/Abilities: Like other members of the Technarch race, Egg is a technoorganic being who constantly changes shape and can absorb the life energy of other beings and infect them with the transmode virus. Egg seems to dwell in a small egg container, and he has had access to a spaceship that took him across the universe. He is able to communicate with other electro-magnetic beings, but only in impulses, memories, and emotions.

History:
(Monsters Unleashed III#11 (fb) - BTS) - A Technarch infant was placed by its progenitor aboard a small ship and sent to Earth, where its progenitor hoped it would learn all about Earth culture before it reached adulthood, transmitting the intel back to its home planet. When the ship crashed on the Moon instead, the infant emerged from the ship disoriented and confused.
(Monsters Unleashed III#11 (fb) - BTS) - Karnak detected the Technarch on the Moon, and he had Lockjaw summon Kid Kaiju and Mekara to him, thinking they could attempt to communicate with it.
(Monsters Unleashed III#11) - The Tecnharch found Karnak, Lockjaw, Kid Kaiju, and Mekara on the Moon, and Mekara tried to interface with it, getting a sense of many of its scattered memories. In distress, the Technarch lashed out, sparring with Mekara who felt she had no choice but to use force on the creature, as Karnak detected no possible weaknesses in the Technarch to exploit. The four heroes scattered to confuse the Technarch as Kid Kaiju and Mekara strategized, realizing they were dealing with an infant. Mekara used a stern tone to convince the infant to submit to her authority, and it stopped fighting and regressed back into a protective form within an egg-like shell. Kid Kaiju and Mekara named the creature Egg and returned it to Mu, where the other monsters Aegis, Scragg, Hi-Vo, and Slizzik watched it in wonder.
(Monsters Unleashed III#12 (fb) - BTS) - Hi-Vo was able to communicate with Egg, and he got a sense that, after hatching, the Technarch might want to be allies.
