Powers/Abilities: Flaming Arrow was a young Shoshone brave keen to prove himself to enter manhood. He was skilled in climbing and fairly proficient in tracking and fighting with a knife.

History:

(Red Warrior#4/6 (fb) - BTS) - Flaming Arrow's father, apparently a senior member of the Shoshone tribe, taught his son many skills.

(Red Warrior#4/6) - Teen-aged Flaming Arrow was assigned a difficult test into manhood. He ran through forest and desert to the far skull-shaped Death Mountain and climbed its sheer slopes to reach the nest of "horo" the eagle. The giant eagle swooped and the two battled until Flaming Arrow used his knife to kill it. He cut its talons off as part of his task, and ran back to make it by the sunset deadline. Successful, he was now considered a warrior.

Flaming Arrow's age was unrevealed and could be anywhere from 14 to 18, but it was implied he was at the younger side of that scale.

Flaming Arrow's father had the larger trailing headdress associated with Native American tribal leaders, but his actual position in the tribe was not revealed.

The opening text box stated "the actual ordeal by which an Indian boy earns the great honor of being called a warrior!"
