History:
(Western Outlaws and Sheriffs#66/3 (fb) - BTS) - The
Golden Kid established a fearsome outlaw's reputation with his
signature gold-tipped bullets targeting his victims' hearts. But
Marshal Clem Hayden and four other lawmen confronted and shot up the
Golden Kid and his gang. The Kid survived the two bullets in his chest
and was imprisoned, but swore revenge. Seven years later, the Golden
Kid escaped and eliminated Sheriff Kip Riggs, journeying to Ponca
Flats, and took on his identity as the new sombrero-wearing sheriff; he targeted Hayden as his first target, killing him in a
gunfight ambush.
(Western Outlaws and Sheriffs#66/3) - Dr. Ed Wilson
(Hayden's father-in-law) and "Riggs" determined the cause of
death. "Riggs" covered the corpse with his jacket in faked respect.
Wilson discovered the gold slug that had killed Hayden, identifying the
killer as the Golden Kid. The next day, "Riggs" daringly revealed the
Golden Kid's history to Wilson, who had since found the gold bullets
"Riggs" had foolishly hidden in his jacket. Wilson also ripped open the shirt of
"Riggs", revealing the twin bullet scars. Exposed, the Golden Kid fired at
Wilson, who could only kick a table back, but this caused the Kid to
fire wildly. That bullet ricocheted off a cell bar and hit his heart,
ending the menace of the Golden Kid.

This was a text story with only one fairly generic image of a young cowboy drawing against a sheriff (possibly harking back to the Golden Kid's younger days), so not much can be determined for his stats other than he might have been blond.
