History: (Dark Avengers I#16) - Following Norman Osborn's failed siege of Asgard and the US military's subsequent declaration of martial law in Broxton, Oklahoma, Horodowsky was ordered to check the barber shop for any lingering agents of Osborn's HAMMER organization. Acknowledging the order, Horodowsky entered the barber shop and warned anyone inside that he was US Army, only to be stabbed through the neck by Dark Wolverine. Dark Wolverine then donned Horodowsky's uniform and exited the barber shop, claiming that he had received orders to patrol the movie theater in an effort to get the other soldiers to leave the area.

Some online sources list Horodowsky as being a member of Norman Osborn's HAMMER organization but the issue specifically stated that Horodowsky was with the US Army, who were tasked with rounding up HAMMER agents.
