History:
(Royals#12 (fb) - BTS) - 5000 years ago, when the Inhumans returned to Earth with some of the Prima Materia from the Progenitors, the space-gods followed them and began fighting the Inhumans. Flint eventually took over as the leader of the Inhumans, calling himself the Moon King, and a battle went on for years as the Inhumans maximized their powers, using the stolen crystals. Medusa and Black Bolt were mutated into a deadly Progenitor construct, called a Commander-Class, and used against the others. The battle raged for years with Earth slowly becoming devastated. Maximus witnessed the long war.
(Royals#9 (fb) - BTS) - The battle between the Inhumans and the Progenitors ended when a Skyspear landed on Earth, killing Flint.
(Royals#12 (fb) - BTS) - The Progenitors departed, and Maximus, as the last surviving Inhuman, began realizing that the Progenitors would one day return.
(Royals#2 (fb) - BTS) - Living for hundreds of years in Arctilan by himself, the Last Inhuman saw Inhuman cocoons regularly manifest "techno-astral projections" that lived a half-life, taking care of the city while sussing out potential threats.
(Royals#1) - 5000 years later, in Arctilan, new Inhuman cocoons prepared to give birth to ghosts that would help see to the city's functions. Riders rode the winged Pterolyths, patrolling the poisoned skies while breathing with air-sacs. They approached the Last Inhuman, in the Tower of Wisdom, and they offered him a ride to the Black Cliffs soon. The Last Inhuman contemplated the past.
(Royals#2) - The Last Inhuman saw the ghosts rise from their cocoons and maintain Arctilan. He saw the skies light up with a warning, and he remembered the sign he'd sent to himself in a former lifetime.
(Royals#3) - The Last Inhuman reached his mind back across the ages to his younger self, and relived some of his memories, including the deaths of his parents, Agon and Rynda.
(Royals#4) - The Last Inhuman rode on a Pterolyth over the dead oceans to a Kree ship.
(Royals#5) - The Last Inhuman entered the Kree ship and shook the Accuser out of his meditation. They reviewed the long fall of the Kree and the Inhumans before realizing the Progenitors were returning.
(Royals#6) - As the Last Inhuman and the Accuser moved through the woods, the Pterolyth and its rider both dropped dead.
(Royals#7) - At the frozen Equator, the Last Inhuman watched as the Accuser battled animal mutates.
(Royals#8) - The Last Inhuman and the Accuser arrived in New York City, in ruins and flooded, until they found New Attilan, which had a Skyspear sticking out of its dome.
(Royals#9) - The Last Inhuman and the Accuser found the corpse of the Moon King, and discovered his skeleton preserved by the ever-growing Skyspear. The Last Inhuman determined that Flint could be awakened.
(Royals#10) - As the Last Inhuman awakened the Moon King, a crystal wolf attacked the Accuser, and Flint's crystal fist crushed it.
(Royals#11) - The Moon King's skeleton, encased in crystal, was activated by the Last Inhuman as he and the Accuser saw the Progenitors' ship arrive.
(Royals#12) - In the far past, Maximus the Mad touched the Prima Materia, allowing him to mentally interface with the Last Inhuman, who explained the origin of the Progenitors to his past self. The Moon King held off the Progenitors' energy attack as the Accuser destroyed the Progenitors' ship. The Medusa/Black Bolt construct was released and killed the Accuser. The Last Inhuman, delivering messages of warning to his past self, amplified his powers and then blew up part of the Earth to stop the Progenitors.
