History: (Spider-Man Magazine (I#14)) -
Lightning Bolt became a flying superhero.
Comments: Created by Wayne Adams, Jr.
Lightning Bolt was a product of Marvel's Spider-Man Magazine visiting Ms. Hopkins' third grade glass at Saratoga Elementary School in Springfield, Virginia circa 1995. Each child was asked to design their own superhero and only five of them were shown in Spider-Man Magazine's "Classy Super-Heroes" article in the fourteenth issue of the Magazine. In Lightning Bolt's case, he was created by then-third grader Wayne Adams, Jr..
Lightning Bolt's height & weight were impossible to approximate, as he was never seen next to any character whose height & weight had been officially determined. Additionally, he was never seen outside of his costume so his eye & hair color were also impossible to determine.
Lightning Bolt's origin was never shown so it was
unclear how he acquired his flying powers. In fact, next to nothing was
revealed about the character, other than him being a superhero and an
image of him flying.
