History:

(Blackstone the Magician#4/3 (fb) - BTS) - Jonathan J. Littlejohn escaped the State Insane Asylum and sought out the Blonde Phantom for her secret identity to blackmail her and prevent her thwarting his robberies.

(Blackstone the Magician#4/3) - Littlejohn approached Louise Grant in her secretary guise at her workplace. When she didn't respond as he had hoped, he left but faked a yell for help. Grant changed into Blonde Phantom and, with her unwitting boss Mark Mason, confronted Littlejohn, who threatened to reveal Blonde Phantom's true identity if she stopped him committing robberies. She still followed the fugitive and stopped his armed holdup of a jewelry store. Police arrived and tackled him; given his mentally unstable profile, the police dismissed his assertions that Blonde Phantom was Mason's secretary. Littlejohn was taken back to the Asylum.

Comments: Created by uncredited writer & artist (see comments).

Mr. Littlejohn claimed to be a psychiatrist and may well have been, but should've had the title of Dr. (unless perhaps he was struck off the medical register).

The introductory panel showed him handling an oversized magnifying glass, but this is the only time that's seen, so I consider that artistic license rather than something he carried with him.

The Grand Comics Database identifies the pencils and inks to be by Ken Bald.
