History:
(Daredevil V#21 (fb) - BTS) - Tired of waiting for what he felt was rightfully his, Ammo formed the Munition Militia, with members Black Powder, Slug, Steeljacket, and Tracer. The group made a deal with the Black Cat for high-powered weapons. The Militia planned to take their guns to the streets to bring the cops in while Slug drove a sanitation truck near City Hall, where a bomb in the back of the truck would go off at midnight, killing many.
(Daredevil V#21) - The Militia were preparing for action when Luke Cage burst in on them, and they easily knocked him back with their guns. Echo and Daredevil joined the fight and the Militia was swiftly defeated, but Ammo bragged about the truck. The heroes rushed away, finding Slug at City Hall, and they managed to plummet the truck into the river, where it exploded with no casualties. The Militia all escaped except for Slug. Slug was soon taken to trial, where he called Daredevil to the stand.
(Daredevil V#22) - The Militia, who Daredevil called the Clip, attacked the courtroom where Slug was being put on trial. Daredevil leapt to protect the civilians, including prosecutors Perez and Porter, paralegal Ellen King, and defense attorney Baden, and Daredevil swiftly disarmed the men. When Slug tried turning against Baden, Daredevil took him down as well.
(Daredevil V#22 - BTS) - The Militia were all arrested and sent to jail.

Slug was soon taken to trial, where he called Daredevil to the stand. (Daredevil V#22) - Slug was put on trial for criminal conspiracy and terrorist acts, and he sat with his attorney as Daredevil was called to the stand. The judge warned Daredevil that he might be compelled to unmask and Daredevil agreed to proceed. The prosecutor, Ms. Porter, began questioning Daredevil, but Slug's counsel, Mr. Baden, pushed a motion to make Daredevil unmask, though prosecutor Perez and paralegal Ellen King had already prepared a counter brief. The judge agreed to make an immediate ruling. As Baden questioned Daredevil, the Militia, who Daredevil called the Clip, burst into the room with guns, but Daredevil swiftly took them down. Slug hit a guard with a briefcase and threatened Baden, determined to go back to his friends, but Daredevil defeated him with a gavel to the face. (Daredevil V#23 - BTS) - Mayor Wilson Fisk appointed Legal to represent Slug at the New York Court of Appeals. (Daredevil V#25 - BTS) - After losing the case at the Court of Appeals, Murdock pushed the case to the Supreme Court, and he won. --Daredevil V#21 ([Daredevil V#21 (fb)], 21-22, [23], [25] |
