History: (Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe I #1 – Attilan entry (fb) – BTS/Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe: Fantastic Four 2005 – Inhumans entry - BTS) – Thousands of years ago, King Myran founded the advanced city of Attilan on an island in the Northern Atlantic, approximately 200 miles southwest of Iceland. Under Myran's reign, the Inhumans became one of the most advanced cultures on Earth. Little is known about his reign but a monument to Myran was built near the Parliament building. The Tomb of Ryvain was placed nearby.
Comments: Created by Mark Gruenwald, Peter
Gillis, Eliot R. Brown and Josef Rubinstein.
In the initial profile on Attilan, it was stated
that King
Myran founded the city approximately 7000 years ago. Later Handbooks
clarified
the timeline to be closer to 20,000 years ago (give or take a few
thousand
years).
Therefore, the exact time period in
which Myran lived is unrevealed. --Proto-Man

(Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe I#1 –
Attilan entry (fb) – BTS) – Little is known about Ryvain but he was
important to Inhuman
history for unrevealed reasons. A tomb for Ryvain was placed near the
center of
the city of Attilan. On the opposite side of the palace was a tomb
dedicated to Randac.
