History:
(Western Outlaws#15/2) - During cow-branding at a
Dallas ranch, a worker made fun of Hulk Andrews' solid build and
slowness, so Andrews challenged him to a gun duel and easily outdrew
the bully. Carnival owner Ace Cody was passing by and was impressed
with Andrews' skill, and offered him a substantial pay increase to join
his traveling show as a carnival act, promoting him as the "Quick-Draw
Kid". Large crowds came to see him and he remained undefeated against
showtime challengers, including famed Marshal Dave Tepper. After a
show, Cody duped Andrews into joining a group of gunslingers, including
Seth Waco, into raiding a bank closed for the night. They were
successful with a large haul, but the Quick-Draw Kid felt an
overwhelming sense of guilt at being cast an outlaw and wanted to
return the money. Sensing a double-cross, he spun and dodged bullets
from the other gunmen, and he shot their guns away. They quickly backed
away from any further challenge.
(Western Outlaws#15/2 (fb) - BTS) - The Quick-Draw
Kid returned the stolen money to the bank and received a pardon for the
crime. Having abandoned the carnival, he chose obscurity, becoming a
drifter in the Wyoming Hills, his name a fading legend.

I assume "Hulk" is just a nickname...

CLARIFICATIONS
:
Quick-Draw Kid (Hulk Andrews) has no known connections to:
Ace Cody was the owner of a mobile carnival that toured the Midwest. Chancing across Hulk Andrews' quick and accurate gunshooting skills, he offered Andrews a spot in his show as the Quick-Draw Kid at a significantly higher rate of pay than what Andrew received as a ranch worker. Cody's promotion elevated the legend of the Quick-Draw Kid, but the unscrupulous Cody cajoled him into joining several nefarious gunslingers and raiding a bank at night. Cody dismissed Andrews' later guilt and desire to return the money. He ordered his men shoot Andrews, but the Kid outdrew them all and disarmed them, soon after abandoning Cody's carnival and returning the stolen loot.
The Quick-Draw Kid later received a
pardon after returning the stolen money, suggesting that Cody was
arrested and punished.
