History: (Daredevil I#268 (fb)) – As a boy, Raymo loved his dog Queenie. When her leg was bad, the vet had to amputate it despite Raymo's protests.

(Daredevil I#268 (fb) – BTS) – After her surgery, Raymo believed that Queenie felt betrayed and looked at him like he was responsible. He never wanted anyone to look at him like that again. Raymo grew up with his brother Hank and their mother. Raymo grew up to marry Sally, who opened Sally's Bed and Breakfast while Hank went on to run a successful criminal enterprise as a loan shark, living a life of wealth and spoiling his wife. In time, Raymo agreed to take on the job of debt collector for Hank, getting big money to convince people to pay up their bills. Hank sent Raymo to collect from local restaurant owner Billy but Raymo put off the task for a few weeks.

(Daredevil I#268) – Raymo woke up from a terrible nightmare in which he'd kept Billy on a chain and tried to cut off his bad leg before screaming about the death of his dog Queenie. Sally comforted him, saying they just needed a few more years to save up for a better future. Matt Murdock checked into Sally's Bed and Breakfast and Sally showed the blind man in to a room. Sally pressured Raymo to quit his line of work that very day and he agreed. That night, he approached Hank, who was beating up Billy. Hank demanded better results from Raymo, saying that if he could use more violence, he would be more effective. Sally found Raymo brooding at home and wondered what was going on but Raymo remained silent. He later went to Billy wearing black gloves but as Billy begged for his life, Raymo chose to walk away, leaving him unharmed. Back at their home, as their guest (Matt Murdock) checked out, Sally took a call from Hank, who said he was leaving the business.

(Daredevil I#268) – As Raymo watched, Hank roughed Billy up, demanding payment. Later, Raymo wore black gloves to confront Billy, who swore he didn't have the money. Raymo chose to leave Billy untouched.

(Daredevil I#268 (fb) – BTS) – Hank grew up with his brother Raymo and their mother. They had a three-legged dog Queenie growing up. Hank grew up to marry and launch a successful business as a loan shark. He gave to charity and lived a high life but he frequently hurt others as he collected debts. Hank brought Raymo, who had a wife Sally, in to work for him as a debt collector. Raymo was assigned to collect debts from restaurant owner Billy but Raymo didn't collect for a few weeks.

(Daredevil I#268) – Hank was roughing up Billy to teach Raymo a lesson and he encouraged Raymo to take a higher interest in the business. Later, Daredevil attacked Hank, using his own arrogant words against him, tying him to a noose and leaving him standing on a chair. After freeing himself, Hank called Sally to tell her he was leaving the business.

Queenie

(Daredevil I#268 (fb)) – Queenie was the childhood pet of two boys, Raymo and Hank. When Queenie needed an operation to amputate a leg, Raymo was heartbroken.

(Daredevil I#268 (fb) – BTS) – Sally married Raymo and opened a bed and breakfast. When Raymo went to work for his criminal brother Hank as a debt collector, Sally was against it.

(Daredevil I#268) – Sally comforted Raymo after he woke up from a bad nightmare and reminded him that they only needed to save up a few more years for a better future together. Matt Murdock checked in and Sally showed the blind man up to a room. Later, she found Matt sitting in the dark and she was startled. She then found Raymo silently brooding but she gave him space. The next day, as Murdock checked out, Hank called to say he was shutting down his business and Sally was pleased.
