History: (Inhumanity: Superior Spider-Man I#1 (fb) – BTS) – Arthur Schweibe struggled as he watched his wife Susan dying of cancer. The city of Attilan crashed into New York City, scattering technology everywhere, and some delicate machines landed on the Schweibe's apartment building. Schweibe discovered some of the Inhuman tech that would absorb the life force of others and he realized he could perhaps save Susan's life by taking the life of others. Susan refused so he dosed her with sleeping pills then he put on the tech and began redirecting life forces.

(Inhumanity: Superior Spider-Man I#1) – Spider-Man (Otto Octavius) and the fire department arrived at the building to investigate and Arthur attacked them, draining their life forces as well. Spider-Man, determining that the Inhuman tech had been developed to strengthen soldiers on the battle field by draining the lives of others, realized that Susan had been dosed with pills. Lt. Coyle confronted Schweibe, helping him realize he was being selfish and not respecting Susan's wishes. After Arthur surrendered the tech, Spider-Man shocked him, promising to connect Susan with Dr. Elias Wirtham (Cardiac) for treatment, and by not arresting Arthur, letting him stay with his wife.
