History: (Spider-Man Magazine I#7) - The
twisted-looking Spine was a supervillain, fighting such enemies as
Laser, Super Slimer and Scullface.
Comments: Created by Teva Flowers.
Spine was a product of the 1994 Spider-Man Magazine's "Create Your Own Super Hero or Super-Villain" section that ran in most earlier issues of the Magazine. In Spine's case, he was created by then-10-year-old Teva Flowers of Melrose, Florida. As a fringe character, Spine was not confirmed to exist on Earth-616 but there was nothing to suggest he did not exist on Earth-616 either...
Spine's height and weight were impossible to approximate, as he was never seen next to any character whose height and weight had been officially determined.
Spine's origin was not given but, judging from the
bizarre visual appearance and power to separate his head from his body,
my vote is on Spine being some sort of mystic entity.
Profile by Proto-Man.
