History:
(Daredevil I#208 (fb) - BTS) - Elizabeth Dawes Sterling was the descendant of a very rich family line in America. She raised her son, Philip Wallace, knowing he was her only hope of furthering her family line, but Phillip eventually became the Death-Stalker, committing crimes and fighting Daredevil. When Death-Stalker was seemingly killed in battle with Daredevil, Elizabeth used her vast fortunes to convert her family home in Riverdale (in the Bronx) into a massive death-trap, filled with robots, snakes, and explosive devices. In her designs, she primarily used the research of Professor Marvin Minsky, who specialized in telepresence at the artificial intelligence lab at M.I.T. She pre-recorded a message for Daredevil, then assigned robots to lure him into the house. Upon her death, Elizabeth activated the death-trap.
(Daredevil I#208 - BTS) - Daredevil was lured into the home by a robotic girl, and he narrowly survived the death traps. He saw Elizabeth's recorded message, then escaped her final trap, a massive explosion. More robot girls followed Matt to work the next morning.
(Daredevil I#209 - BTS) - Matt battled the robot girls, destroying a few single robots before destroying the rest en masse at the ruins of Elizabeth's home. Johnny Squarejohn was killed in the final explosion.
