History: (Daredevil I#143 (fb) – BTS) – After
years of working for
Maxwell Glenn of Glenn Industries, Mr. Stone slowly wielded more
control over
Glenn's business.
(Daredevil I#141 (fb) – BTS) – At some point, and
through
unrevealed means, Stone developed super-powers including super-strength
and
durability. He adopted a green costume and took the code name Stone.
(Daredevil I#134) – "Foggy" Nelson visited the
offices of
Maxwell Glenn but he was turned away by Mr. Stone. Nelson vowed to
return with
a court order. Stone told Maxwell nothing about Nelson's visit then
went off
for a personal meeting.
(Daredevil I#136) – Stone recorded Heather Glenn's
conversations with Matt Murdock then said goodbye to Maxwell, going
home for
the evening.
(Daredevil I#138) – At Glenn Industries, holding a
gun,
Stone made a call to "Foggy" Nelson demanding Nelson be on a specific
intersection
by midnight or he would kill Debbie Harris. That night, he shot at "Foggy"
but "Foggy" survived.
(Daredevil I#141 (fb) – BTS) –
Stone privately arranged for
"Foggy" to be in a particular phone booth at a particular time.
(Daredevil I#141) – Stone, wearing his costume on a nearby roof,
opened fire
on "Foggy" in the phone booth, striking him without realizing that
"Foggy" was
wearing a bullet-proof vest. Daredevil
attacked Stone on the roof and they
battled until Stone fell, taking a hard fall on the ground below. As Daredevil
demanded to know who had kidnapped Debbie Harris, Stone admitted
culpability
then, after chanting his own name a few times, he died.
(Daredevil I#143 – BTS) – The police found evidence of Stone's crimes in Glenn Industries' paperwork.
