Powers/Abilities: It is unrevealed whether the Troxx have superhuman abilities, although they are slightly larger than human on average.
At least two Troxx were born with special abilities.
Mrrungo-Mu has superhuman size, vast strength and durability, and
devastating energy manipulation powers, including firing destructive
energy blasts and force field generation.
Tnneya can telepathically make others perceive her as their ideal lover.
The Troxx designed technology
enabling them to drain power from individuals and whole populations and
to transfer that power to the massive power batteries that fed their worldship. Further, Mrrungo-Mu
Mu wore a disc on his forehead technologically transmitting energy to
and from the Enslavers’ massive power batteries, granting him
sufficient power to be considered a threat to a hungry/weakened
Galactus. These energies could also be transferred to the battle armors of their warriors, allowing them to defeat powerful threats such as Dr. Doom, the Hulk, and Thor.
The Troxx's immense worldship, larger than Earth, was capable of interstellar travel and has specialized city-sized laboratories, long range scanners and a bestiary containing savage alien life forms.
The worldship also contained a number of smaller transport ships, which still were larger than a city such as Manhattan. These were sent down to the planet's surface to capture the population.
Traits: The Troxx are a polytheistic race, although nothing has been revealed about their religion beyond a reference to "gods."
The Troxx willingly enslaved other
races and drained their life forces in order to maintain their own
existence.
Initially Mrrungo-Mu did what he did to save his people; however,
eventually the savagery needed to accomplish his goals, as well as his lust for
ever greater levels of power, drove him mad.
After captives' energies were completely drained, Mrrungo-Mu fed them to his beasts.

History:
(Silver Surfer: The Enslavers (fb) - BTS) - On
the dying planet of the Troxx, Mrrungo-Mu saved his race from
extinction by using his great inborn power to conquer and enslave
others. His people then designed technology allowing him to drain
victims’ power to augment his people’s, fueling construction of a
powerful worldship and enslavement of other races in ever greater
numbers.
Mu justified his actions to save his people, but
the savagery needed to accomplish his goals and his lust for ever
greater power turned him into a cruel and ruthless tyrant. Many worlds
fell before the Enslavers (as the Troxx became known), eventually
including Zenn-La, homeworld of the Silver Surfer (Norrin Radd).
(Silver Surfer: The Enslavers (fb) - BTS) - Led by the power of Mrrungo-Mu, the Enslavers conquered world after world. Prisoners of the Enslavers were hooked into machinery that constantly transmitted their power to Mrrungo-Mu and to the Enslavers' worldship. After the energies of the captives were exhausted, their corpses served as nourishment to Mu's monstrous royal pets.
Mu’s lover, Tnneya, hated what he had become, denying him her affections, and he assembled a large royal harem, though he still longed for Tnneya.

(Silver Surfer: The Enslavers) - After
Galactus cast Earth’s Voyager III space probe into deep space, the
Enslavers learned of Earth from Voyager’s database. 
(Silver Surfer: The Enslavers - BTS) - Voyager III, the space probe sent from Earth years before, was launched an unknown distance at great speed by Galactus.
(Silver Surfer: The Enslavers) - The Enslavers' ship approached Voyager III and pulled it via tractor beam into the Enslavers' ship. From this, the ship's scientists deciphered the Earthly message of peace and then used its long-range scanners to locate Earth. They transmitted a message discussing friendly contact, which was ecstatically received by Voyager's designer, astrophysicist Earl Weygand. However, while Weygand excitedly discussed the message on television, the Enslavers' soldiers struck, ambushing and capturing the super-heroes and super-villains of Earth. To prove his power, Mu released a group of heroes--Colossus, Doc Samson, Hulk, Namor, Rogue, She-Hulk, Silver Surfer, Thing, Thor, and Wolverine--and then easily incapacitated the lot of them.
Despite these recent additions, Mu's elder engineer Kalldin-Zo pointed out that their massive ship required greater amounts of energy, energy that could only be provided by capturing greater numbers of slaves. Mu vowed to continue conquering worlds and taking ever more slaves, but he warned Zo that he would die most painfully if the power stopped. Mu visited Tnneya, who continued to deny her affections. Pushed to the limit, Mu teleported away, telling her that when he returned, she would welcome him properly.
Appalled, Tnneya fled the Enslavers' ship in her private yacht as Mu
surveyed a new group of dancers, which included Shalla Bal, whose free will and
emotion Mu began draining. Mu was furious upon learning of Tnneya's departure,
commanding the deaths of both the flight master and the one who brought the message
and then ordering that Tnneya be safely returned. Mu's minions pursued Tnneya.
The Silver Surfer, who had been investigating a vision of the Zenn-Lavian's enslavement, came across the fleeing craft of Tnneya and rescued her, disabling the ship pursuing her. The grateful Tnneya was strongly attracted to the Surfer, and she took the form of Shalla Bal, seducing him. After some...romance, the Surfer realized that Tnneya was not Shalla Bal, and she returned to her true form, exclaiming his strength in spirit and love, but expressing sadness that Mrrungo-Mu would destroy him. After learning of the Troxx and their imprisonment of the Zenn-Lavians and humanity, the Surfer disregarded Tnneya's warnings of Mu's power and convinced her to direct him the Enslavers. The Surfer accessed warp space to confront the Enslavers as soon as possible, taking Tnneya with him.
Meanwhile, the Enslavers sent crafts to Earth, using giant suction devices to capture and enslave the whole population, starting with a Troxx welcoming party Earl Weygand led in Central Park, encasing some in individual life-support tubes to siphon their strength and preserving most in gigantic holding chambers until their life forces were required. Mu took up temporary residence in the United Nations Building, and he summoned Earl Weygand, thanking him for leading him to Earth via designing Voyager III and granting him the reward of one week of freedom.
Mu's advisors soon warned him of
the Surfer's approach; intrigued by the prospect of testing the power of
Galactus, Mu had a laser beacon sent to guide the Surfer directly to him. Mu
mocked the Surfer, who struck out at Mu's soldiers, but Mu stopped the fight and
ordered all others from the room that he might battle the Surfer unmolested. As
the others left, the Surfer--having learned of Mu's power plant from Tnneya--transferred
half of his power to Weygand, along with the message to use this power to
disable the Enslavers power batteries.
Knowing that with half of his
power he could not hope to stand up to Mu, the Surfer nonetheless
fought back with all of his might. Mu toyed with the Surfer, concluding
that since the Surfer was such a small challenge to him that Galactus
must be his inferior as well. However, after freeing Mu's beasts to
divert the Troxx's attention, Weygand managed to destroy the shields
around the Troxx's power plant at the cost of his own
life. As Weygand died, the Surfer's full power returned, and he fired a beam
into the Enslavers' ship that destroyed the power plant, depriving Mu, the ship, and the Enslavers of their stolen/stored energies. Soon the freed beasts and freed former slaves/captives assaulted the Troxx.
Though still mighty
even without the power channeled from his ship, Mu proved inferior to the
Surfer's Power Cosmic, and the Surfer defeated him and destroyed his energy draining and transmitting disc. When the Surfer prepared to execute Mu for his crimes, Tnneya rushed to Mu's defense, revealing that he was a man
of unbounded courage and fiery passion, discussing how he had become the
Enslaver, and proclaiming her love for him.
Moved by her words, the Surfer sent
Mu and Tnneya back to their ship, which departed, detaching and leaving behind its sections containing their captives
and power cells, never to menace the galaxies again!
The Surfer cosmically restructured the Enslavers' former Power Plant and containment facilities into hundreds of smaller ships, which he and Shalla led to return to their lost worlds.

According to Stan Lee, he wrote this back in 1980, then
didn't hear anything about it until 1988. Upon reading it, he figured that Keith
had lost his plots because it was virtually a different story than he had
written. Nonetheless, Stan said he was quite pleased with how it turned out.

Most
favored and first chosen of Mrrungo-Mu's Royal Seraglio (harem), she described herself
as a former princess.
She was apparently Mu's lover back before he became the
Enslaver. Despite her behavior towards Mu and the fact that she despised what he
stood for, she still loved him, and she knew that he loved her in his own way.
Nonetheless, after he became corrupted by his power and mission, she began to
deny him her affections. When he pressed the issue, she fled, and she was saved
from Mu's lackeys by the Silver Surfer. Impressed by his bravery and noble
spirit, Tnneya took the form of Shalla Bal and seduced him.
After they had been intimate, the Surfer saw through the illusion, and realized that she was not Shalla. He convinced her to lead him back to Mu.
After Mu had been defeated, she stopped the Surfer from executing him, revealing the noble man he had once been, the man she hoped he would be again.
She referenced unspecified "Gods," presumably worshipped by some amongst the Enslavers

Enslavers'
soldiers
Immensely powerful while their armors were backed by the
Enslavers' ship's power plant, soldiers acting individually proved capable of
overcoming foes as powerful as Dr. Doom, the Hulk, Thor, Wolverine, etc.
They had vast strength, were virtually indestructible, and could fire devastating energy blasts.
It is unclear how powerful they are without the power plant's support. The Surfer was not sure whether they were robots or armored men.

Enslavers'
worldship
An immense structure dwarfing even the planet Earth, it served as the worldship of the Enslavers, containing the living quarters of the entire race;
the power plant that drained power from the their captives to amplify the abilities of Mrrungo-Mu, the soldiers, etc.; the storage facilities for the stasis pods that held captives pending their being hooked into the power plant; Mrrungo-Mu's beasts/pets; immense laboratories, advanced computers, etc.;
The worldship could dispatch other ships that, while much smaller, were still large enough to hold entire cities of people. These ships contained powerful vortex devices that could siphon all of the inhabitants of a city while leaving behind anything the beings were not holding.
The Power Plant was guarded by a powerful force field and various defense mechanisms, but the field was neutralized by Earl Weygand, and the Power Plant was destroyed by the Silver Surfer
After the Surfer destroyed
the Enslavers' power batteries and defeated Mrrungo-Mu, the Troxx were
allowed to depart in peace after detaching and leaving behind its
sections containing their captives and power cells, never to menace the
galaxies again!

The Worldship contained a number of smaller ships, which still were larger than the city of Manhattan. Suspended by force beams (each more than a mile in diameters) over land or sea, the ship covered a city and then opened iris portals that used a great vacuum force to pull the city's inhabitants into the ship.
The force was irresistible, and the entire population was pulled into the transport ship.
Only
the target population was affected: No animals, plants, or objects were
affected. Apparently without harming them, people were removed from
their cars and even from subways.
Armored and armed guards within the transport ships supervised as the captives were herded like cattle.
Captives were placed into life-sustaining capsules, which were stored in gigantic holding chambers, to be preserved until needed.
One such ship was stationed over
Manhattan, and the entire population -- which then included Earl
Weygand and the President of the United States (POTUS).

The POTUS in this story was Ronald
Reagan, but that's a topical reference, as the sliding timescale means
the modern era (FF#1) occurred 12-15 year ago.
Monstrous creatures, they were kept captive, and they devoured all captives tossed to them by Mu.
Earl Weygand set them free, using their rampage to distract the Enslavers from trying to keep him from destroying the force field protecting the Power Plant.
