History:
(Daredevil I#319 (fb) ) - Ms. Verasdi married Jack Kerstin and had children. Jack left the family and filed for divorce, and Ms. Verasdi fought him in court for alimony in order to help the children. Matt Murdock, of Nelson and Murdock, agreed to help, but when she wrote checks to pay for the service, they bounced.
(Daredevil I#319) - Ms. Verasdi met with Murdock to review the case, not realizing that her checks had bounced. Murdock privately paid for the service himself.
