Cask funded the transformation of a former S.H.I.E.L.D. prison in the
Arctic into a place for the evil scientist Dr. Durst, also known as the
Warden, to experiment on former inmates, granting them super-powers.
Cask would send operatives at times to Durst to train his men against.
Durst granted many prisoners super-strength, but one prisoner, Red
Guardian (Alexei Shostakoff), refused to join in, so Durst had him
placed in a remote cell, dressed in a version of his old costume.
(Widowmakers: Red Guardian &
Yelena Belova#1) - When Yelena Belova was found in a shipping crate,
the Warden's men (including Nowak) confronted her, realizing that Cask
had sent her there as a challenge for them, though Belova had believed
she'd been hired to find the Warden. Belova began savagely defeating
the Warden's men, and she soon freed the Red Guardian, who killed
several of the soldiers. Red Guardian knocked out more guards with a
thrown disc, then grabbed Warden by the throat, later blowing up the
base. The Warden was presumably killed in the blast.

Cask would send operatives at times to Durst to train his men against. Cask reached out to Yelena Belova for these purposes.
(Widowmakers: Red Guardian & Yelena Belova#1) - In New York City, Cask met with Yelena Belova and convinced her that Durst was a prisoner in the Arctic that needed to be freed. Cask gave Belova a tremendous amount of money and provided her with transportation to the Arctic. Days later, after surviving the Arctic mission and shutting down the Warden, Belova approached Cask at a party as he slowly realized that she had allocated vast amounts of her fortune to charities in order to get revenge on him.
