History: (Spider-Man Magazine (I#13)) - Wing

Man and Hailstorm.
Comments: Created by Frank Schipani.
Wing Nut was a product of the 1994 Spider-Man Magazine's "Create Your Own Super Hero or Super-Villain" section that ran in most earlier issues of the Magazine. In Wing Nut's case, he was created by then-9-year-old Frank Schipani of Brooklyn, New York. As a fringe character, Wing Nut was not confirmed to exist on Earth-616 but there was also no evidence to say he did not exist on Earth-616...
Wing Nut's height & weight were impossible to approximate, as he was never seen next to any character whose height & weight had been officially determined. Additionally, Wing Nut was never seen outside of his costume so his eye & hair color was also impossible to determine.
Wing Nut's origin was never shown so it was unclear if he was a mutant, mutated human, Inhuman, etc. etc.
Judging from his costume color scheme, Wing Nut looked like a mashup between Spider-Man & the mutant bat Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles character, Wingnut, but maybe that's just me...
The issue of Spider-Man Magazine featuring Wing Nut
was not numbered but recent trade paperbacks of Adventures of
Spider-Man & Adventures of the X-Men that reprinted the comic
strips in the issue identified the issue as #13.
