History:
(Venomverse#1 (fb) - BTS) - In an alternate reality, Scott Lang was the hero Ant-Venom, or Ant-Man bonded with a symbiote, until the Poisons invaded his reality, seeking to infect all life with symbiotes and then consume those symbiotes to make them part of their massive hive mind. Ant-Venom went to another reality, joining with other symbiotic heroes from other universes, and they formed the Resistance, making plans to defeat the Poisons.

(Venomverse#1) - Venom (Eddie Brock from Earth-616) joined the Resistance, but a Poison Hulk attacked and the Resistance had to blow up their base to escape.

(Venomverse#2) - The Resistance regrouped, realizing they had lost Captain Venom, Agent Venom, and Spider-Man.

(Venomverse#3) - Rocket Raccoon built a bomb to counter the Poisons, with Ant-Venom shrinking down to do the wiring on the bomb himself. They activated the bomb, opening the dimensional barriers and summoning a bloodthirsty Carnage to join them. Carnage initially attacked the Venoms, but they were soon attacked by Poisons, including their own appropriated Captain Venom. Carnage lashed out at the Poisons, killing Doctor Strange when he was changed into one of the Hive. The Resistance rushed off to regroup.

(Venomverse#4) - When Poison versions of Gwenpool and Sabretooth attacked, Ant-Venom grew to giant-size to help fight back. They captured and questioned Gwenpool, but then Deadpool, their former ally who was now a Poison, attacked, killing Gwen.

(Venomverse#5) - The Resistance attacked the Hive directly, with Ant-Venom summoning ants to kill some of the small unbonded "baby" Poisons. During the massive fight that followed, a Poison approached Ant-Venom, making him think he was seeing his daughter Cassie alive again. As the Poison infected Ant-Venom, he cried out in pain to Rocket Raccoon, but X-23 killed Ant-Venom before the transformation could be completed.
