History:
(Man of War#2 (fb) - BTS) - Bombardier was a proud
Cuban. With the death of Cuban ruler Fidel Castro and the increasing
influx of rich American tourists to casinos exploiting the local
economy, Bombardier developed an intense dislike of foreigners. When
the all-American patriot hero, Man of War, arrived in Cuba, secretly
searching for a Rake, a potential recruit for the American superhero
team the Protectors, Bombardier followed him to his hotel, aware of Man
of War's reputation.
(Man
of War#2) - In full costume, Man of War unpacked in his hotel
room. Bombardier crept in the open window and attacked Man of War from
behind before smashing him hard against a wall. Explaining his
heat-generating powers and revealing the explosives on his chest linked
to his body heat, he declared he was willing to die for his country.
Man of War ran to get away and Bombardier exploded, killed in the
process, but Man of War's resilient body was unaffected.
(Man of War#7) - Bombardier's brother, also taking
the same codename and with the similar powers, attacked Ferret and Man of War in the USA seeking revenge for
his dead brother.
