History:
(Adam: Legend of the Blue
Marvel#2 (fb) - BTS) - Adrienne Brashear was raised by her parents Adam
and Candace in Silver Spring, Maryland with her brother Max. She never
knew her father was secretly the hero Blue Marvel or that her mother
was really a secet agent named Marlene Frazier. After they graduated,
Max went on to attend Howard University, and Adrienne chose to take a
year off from school to find herself in Europe before planning to
attend Spelman in the fall.
(Captain America And the Mighty Avengers I#9 - BTS) - Adrienne called Max to be connected to her dad, but Blue Marvel was working to save the planet and didn't have time to talk to her.
(Ultimates II#7 (fb) - BTS) - Adrienne went to college and became a scientist, getting her PhD. During those years, her mother Candace was killed and her father Adam was revealed as the hero Blue Marvel. Adrienne maintained a relationship with him, staying close with Max as well. In time, Adrienne got a job at Project: P.E.G.A.S.U.S. as an assistant administrator. Adrienne was assigned to work on finding clean energy options through fringe science. They began experimenting with Iso-8, and immediately realized how much it looked like a Cosmic Cube. In order to study the Iso-8 more effectively, Adrienne requisitioned some Cosmic Cube fragments from S.H.I.E.L.D. and began studying them.
(Ultimates II#7) - When Captain Marvel came to the Project with questions, Adrienne greeted her, telling the hero that Blue Marvel was her father. Captain Marvel demanded the experiments stop, informing Adrienne that an alien race was using the Cosmic Cube experiments at P.E.G.A.S.U.S. as leverage over Alpha Flight.
(Infinity Countdown: Darkhawk#1 (fb) - BTS) - Adrienne agreed to research the powers of Darkhawk when the hero requested it. She also sent a message to the Nova Corps at Darkhawk's request.
(Infinity Countdown: Darkhawk#1) - As Darkhawk's girlfriend Miranda watched, Adrienne completed her examination of the hero's powers, looking into bizarre alien sources, and she determined that Darkhawk may not be able to heal from severe wounds like he could previously due to changes in his power source. Nova (Richard Rider) then sent a message to Darkhawk that Adrienne witnessed.
(Doctor Doom I#7 (fb) - BTS) - When a man-made black hole called the Antlion threatened Earth, Adrienne helped the Blue Marvel stage a mission in the hole itself, following the suggestions of Doctor Doom. She helped design a suit to protect Blue Marvel, and uploaded the consciousness of H.E.R.B.I.E. to aid him.
(Doctor Doom I#7) - Despite Adrienne's reservations, Blue Marvel entered the Antlion. She bid him farewell, then quickly lost contact with him.
