CAPTAIN AMERICA of the RAILWAY
Real Name: Aaron Fischer

Affiliations: Captain America (Steve Rogers), Captain America/Falcon (Sam Wilson), Captain America, Captain America/Winter Soldier (James Barnes), USAgent (John Walker);
notably the homeless and destitute, especially rail riders and "queer runaways"
Enemies: Commander Krieger (Julia Koenig; aka Warrior Woman), Hate-Monger (Adolf Hitler mental replica/energy-being), Speed Demon (James Sanders, posing as Captain America), Superior (Sinthea Smith)
Known Relatives: Unidentified father;

Powers/Abilities: Aaron does not have any superhuman powers, nor does he have any particular combat skills.
However, Aaron is willing to do whatever is necessary to help others,
even risking his life against armed and/or superhumanly powerful foes.
Cap referred to him as "a scrapper."
Unhoused (aka homeless), Aaron rides the railways, going wherever he is
needed via communication with the other members of the Captains
Network. Not leaving a trail, he is difficult to track down.
He appears to an experienced and confidant dancer and gamer, and he is
a huge fan of the play "Hamilton," and the soundtrack thereof.

Eyes: Blue
Hair: Black
Additional identifying features:
Aaron wears a septal nose ring, as well as a stud in his right nostril.
He has a pair of earrings he sometimes wears in each ear, and he has
numerous tattoos on his arms, notably including an American flag on his
right shoulder.History:
(The
United States of Captain America#1 (fb) - BTS) <A few years before
the main story> - Aaron Fischer's father attempted to beat the
homosexuality out of him, after which Aaron ran a way with his
boyfriend. They eventually broke up, and Aaron's boyfriend stayed in
Missouri.
(The
United States of Captain America#1/2 (fb)) - Living as an unhoused teen wanderer,
Aaron received a warning from a friend in Las Vegas about homeless
children disappearing all over the city.
Investigating, he learned that the Roxxon Corporation had apparently
taken in multiple kids before clearing everything out weeks before.
Discovered, he was subdued, captured, and brought to a work camp,
during which he met and became the boyfriend of fellow captive Adrian.
Determined to free his fellow captives, Aaron painted American flag
colors on his overalls and Captain America's shield colors on a shield
of his own, after which he took down several guards in the work camp
and freed those detained there.
(The United States of Captain America#1/2 (fb)) - Enjoying his triumph, Aaron kissed Adrian atop a train.
(The United States of Captain America#1 (fb) - BTS) - Aaron continued to work to help others when he could.
(The
United States of Captain America#2 (fb) - BTS) - Aaron met Nichelle
Wright, the Captain America of Harrisburg, and they made alliances as
part of a Captains Network, taking the ideal of Captain America and
using it to help others locally.
(The
United States of Captain America#1/2 (fb) - BTS) - At the time of the story, Aaron was 19-years-old.
(The
United States of Captain America#1 - BTS) - In the Queens, New York, Captain
America pursued the mind-controlled Speed Demon (although Cap did not
yet know his identity) who had adopted his costume and stolen his
shield, stopping a train Speed Demon had attempted to crash.
(The United States of Captain America#1) - While
helping people on the train get out safely, he saw Aaron's silhouette
and -- assuming it to be the man who had stolen his shield -- tackled
and threatened him. Falcon stopped Cap, telling him this what not the
man who stole his shield, and Aaron told Cap he was just trying to
help. After Aaron answered a question of his identity as "Captain
America," the frustrated Cap told him bad jokes would get him
broken teeth, and Aaron respectfully revealed his real name.
Seeing Aaron's dented shield, Cap asked what was going on, and Aaron
revealed his history and motivations. After Aaron noted that there were
more Captain Americas like him, Cap spotted a sniper's bullet and
knocked Aaron out of the way so that it only grazed his right arm.
(The United States of Captain America#1 (fb) - BTS) - After getting treated, Aaron took off.
(The
United States of Captain America#1 (fb) - BTS) - Captain America
compiled notes on Aaron, which detailed that while "He looks like
he'd blow away in a strong breeze, he's a scrapper. Took that gunshot
wound like a champ. Just hope he's not in over his head."
(The
United States of Captain America#2 (fb) - BTS) - Despite Cap vouching
for him, the federal agents still wanted to question Aaron about the
train crash.
(The
United States of Captain America#2 - BTS) - Aaron messaged Nichelle,
telling her that there was trouble coming her way. She suited up and
told him to send her details.
(The
United States of Captain America#4 (fb) - BTS) - Captain America
arranged to meet with Aaron and Arielle Agbayani at Sam Wilson's
Colorado cabin. Arielle drove down from Boston through New York and
picked up Aaron and they drove together to Colorado, singing along with
the Hamilton soundtrack for six full performances.
(The
United States of Captain America#4) - Aaron and Arielle arrived at
Sam's cabin, and Aaron expressed his interest in trying out the outdoor
shower and then living there for a few months. Sam told him, "mi casa
es su casa, friend." The Winter Soldier told them that things were
going to get pretty dangerous, and Aaron remained approving but silent
as Arielle noted that they both got it.
While Rogers and Barnes went out to meet and recruit USAgent (John
Walker), Aaron and Arielle played video games, and Aaron chose Iron Man
against Arielle's Captain America. As the both appreciated that Iron
Man would lose, Arielle asked why Aaron didn't choose someone like
Speedball who had a better chance, and Aaron replied that he did not
mind the wealthy Iron Man losing to Cap.
(The
United States of Captain America#4 (fb) - BTS) - After Sam received a
report of a NORAD assault (by Commander Krieger/Warrior Woman,
Superior, and the still-controlled Speed Demon/Captain America), Aaron
and Arielle joined him in meeting up with Rogers and Barnes. As they
drove off behind the motorcycle-driving senior Caps, Aaron noted that
he would be happy to learn how to ride a cycle. They subsequently
learned that their enemies were seeking to liberate the Hate-Monger,
the psycho-active energy derived from Adolf Hitler's consciousness.
After they arrived at the NORAD facility, Aaron and Arielle sandwiched
Commander Krieger between their shields, briefly knocking the wind out
of her before they were both dropped by Roger's shield, thrown by
Superior. After Rogers dropped Superior, they were subsequently
briefly mesmerized by Commander Krieger using Roger's shield, until Cap
took out her feet. Nonetheless, Krieger freed the Hate-Monger, and the
two escaped.
Aaron listened as Captain Jeremy
Merrick noted that the Hate-Monger was a dangerous asset, and after
Aaron noted that he didn't seem like an asset, Jeremy conceded that
that was a bad choice of words.
Aaron remained silent as the senior Caps discussed how they would obtain information from Superior.
(The
United States of Captain America#5) - After Captain Jeremy Merrick
identified the defunct satellite station on Mount San Antonio on which
Captain Americas (Rogers, Walker, and Wilson) were being held, Aaron
joined Captain America/Bucky (James Barnes), Nichelle Wright, Joe
Gomez, Arielle Agbayani, and approximately seven others in confronting the villains.
After Superior and Krieger had been defeated and Hate-Monger
re-contained, Steve Rogers deferred a public speech -- in place of the
planned Hate-Monger speech -- to the others, and Aaron proudly
spoke up. He discussed how they had gotten off on the wrong foot (due
to Hate-Monger's manipulation), and then continued, promoting diversity
and ensuring anyone listening that the Captains Network had their
backs.
Comments: Created by Christopher Cantwell, Dale Eaglesham, Josh Trujillo, and Jan Bazaldua.
Aaron appears in the Alligator
Loki Infinity Comic, which is an "All-Ages" series, and it seems like it may
be more along the lines of Marvel Adventures/Marvel Age stories, but
there's nothing that definitively rules it out of -616 continuity that
I saw. It's also like a "Nuff Said" comic as there is no dialog. If
these somehow turn out to be in-continuity, I'll fill in more detail
and add information to the above headings.
(Alligator
Loki Infinity Comic#5) -
Attending a zoo with a friend, Aaron saw Alligator Loki -- who had been
inadvertently pulled through a mystic portal by that reality's Thor --
in an
exhibit/habitat, where he had presumably been placed by Thor? Seeking
freedom, Alligator Loki cried "crocodile tears," earning Aaron's
sympathy, and Aaron got him out of the habitat and fled with him.
(Alligator
Loki Infinity Comic#6) - Aaron brought Alligator Loki to an
apartment(?) to meet friends including America Chavez, Ghost Spider
(Gwen Stacy), Ms. Marvel (Kamala Khan), Spider-Man (Miles Morales), and
Squirrel Girl (Doreen Green). Via Alligator Mjol-Treats, they taught
Alligator Loki a number of tricks -- with Aaron teaching him to shake
hands -- but when Thor showed up and tried to also teach a treat,
Alligator Loki unsurprisingly bit Thor on the hand.
(Alligator
Loki Infinity Comic#10) - Aaron attended the Stark Annual Benefit
during which Alligator Loki created a distraction by knocking food off
a table while Loki tried to steal the Infinity Gauntlet (which was on
display under a glass case, complete with Infinity Gems, not
stones...). Both were caught and placed in a detention cell.
(Alligator
Loki Infinity Comic#12) - Aaron attended a surprise first birthday part
for Alligator Loki in the park, and he posed with America Chavez behind
Alligator Loki and a pile of gifts.
(Alligator Loki Infinity Comic#13) - Aaron attended a superhero cookout.
Captain America (2022)#0 is just an image of Aaron shown
by Arnim Zola, as one of the people Steve has inspired. Captain
America: Sentinel of Liberty II#1 is similarly just him among others
inspired by Steve, as Steve thinks about his life, friends, foes, etc.
