History:
(Secret Empire: Uprising#1 (fb) - BTS) - After Hydra took over the
government, they chose to form a Hydra Youth Choir, to foster loyalty
and enthusiasm in their next generation. The Choirmaster was put in
charge of recruiting talented teens to join their ranks, and the choir
was set to perform for Captain America, the leader of Hydra, himself at
the dedication of the new Capitol building weeks later. Choirmaster
designed green robes for the choir to wear.
(Secret Empire: Uprising#1) - The Choirmaster held auditions for the choir in Chicago, and he explained to the assembled youth that they would be vigorously trained over the following days until only 48 of them remained. Auditioners included Ryan Nelson and Gretchen (who talked about meeting Inhuman Gregory Bollard).
(Secret Empire: Uprising#1 - BTS) - Choirmaster was impressed with the talent in the group, but had to cut many of them. Hearing about rambunctious activity among the teens, he brought in the villainous teen team, the Freelancers, to watch over them.
(Secret Empire: Uprising#1) - Choirmaster announced the presence of the Freelancers and encouraged the attendees to seek out professional coaching for their auditions of patriotic hymns. After letting recruit Nadia (the Wasp in disguise) pass through, Choirmaster was hearing Amadeus Park (secretly Brawn/Amadeus Cho) sing when Nadia rushed out screaming that she'd seen a rat. As the crowd screamed, Choirmaster stayed focused on Amadeus' impressive audition.
(Secret Empire: Uprising#1 - BTS) - Choirmaster was disturbed to hear about a skirmish between the Champions and the Freelancers. He escalated his selection of the final 48 for his Choir.
(Secret Empire: Uprising#1) - Choirmaster gathered the final 48 of the Choir and then proudly introduced them to the Hydra leader, Viper.

Like his father, Ryan believed that Captain America, the leader of Hydra, was the ultimate hero. (Secret Empire: Uprising#1) - Ryan went to audition fo the Hydra Youth Choir, hoping to one day get a scholarship to join Hydra itself. He met Amadeus Park (secretly Amadeus Cho) in line and enthusiastically expressed his love of Hydra.
