who ceased to age upon reaching

terrestrial diseases and are resistant to
conventional
injury. If wounded, her godly life force will enable her to recover at
a superhuman rate. Her flesh and bone are
about three times denser than similar human tissue, contributing to her
superhuman strength and weight. Davi Naka's strength appears to match
that of the Olympian Ares (lifting up to 70 tons), but this may have
been reinforced within her own temple. Her metabolism gives her
superhuman endurance in all physical activities. She can levitate and
has lightning reflexes, striking quick like a snake. He skin has scales
and she can unfurl a thin layer of skin from her arms that help her
aerial movement, but these wisps can also be flexed to form dragon-like
wings. Davi Naka can shoot energy blasts from her hands of such
destructive force that they can hurt a god. She can summon water
and
fashion images to her choosing, especially to reflect history. Within
her temple, she can summon and command a small band of protective
troll-like beings.

History:
(Sword Master I#4/2 (fb) - BTS) - As one of the Asian gods, Davi Naka was an adult while the Olympian god Zeus was still a child. She became the protector of dragons (particularly serpent-like dragons) and took up residence in a temple in Madripoor in southeast Asia.
More recently, Davi Naka saw the
greedy serpent-dragon Drakon Ismenios (son of the Olympian god
Ares) attack Atlantis' vaults. Fearing retribution on dragons, Davi
Naka took
Ismenios and made him captive hidden in a maze-like puzzle within her
temple to placate Atlantis.
(Sword Master I#5/2) - Sword Master, Shang-Chi and
Ares went to rescue Ismenios from Davi Naka's temple, but were suddenly
confronted by Davi Naka and her small army of rock beasts, angered that
they had crossed into her sacred temple..
(Sword Master I#6/2) - Ares attacked her with a
pillar but she easily dodged it and overpowered him, disappointed at
Ares' impetuous youthfulness as she also evaded Ismenios. Sword Master
tried to join the fray but his sacred sword, the Sword of Fu Xi,
refused to comply, allowing Davi Naka to reveal why she had removed
Ismenios and safeguarded him. Ares chose to leave with his son along
with Shang-Chi and Sword Master, but Davi Naka warned that they would
all be held accountable for the disappearance of Atlantis' sacred
serpent.

The story led into Atlantis Attacks (2020).
Davi Naka is called the mother goddess of Madripoor and protector of dragons, but this is effectively the same, given Madripoor is built on the back of a dragon (as dramatically revealed in Avengers World#1).
While Islam is the dominant religion in the
Indonesian archipelago surrounding Madripoor, Davi Naka's name seems
very
likely derived from Hindu mythology: Davi (which is similar to Devi, Sanskrit for
goddess) and Naka (which is close to the human-serpent deities the Naga). Of note is
that Hinduism
reached the Indonesian region is the 1st Century AD, several hundred
years before Islam. Given Madripoor is built on a sleeping dragon, it
should not be surprising that a deity has chosen/been assigned to watch
over Madripoor. Indeed, the image of the statue as the trio entered
Madripoor resembled Balinese religious iconography.
