DINO-BYTE
Classification: Terrestrial technology
Creator: Moon Girl (Lunella Lafayette)
User/Possessors: Moon Girl (Lunella Lafayette)
First Appearance: (BTS, name unrevealed) Moon Girl and Devi Dinosaur#11 (November, 2016); (seen, name revealed) Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur#12 (December, 2016)
Powers/Abilities/Functions: Composed of Legos and electronic components, Dino-Byte was designed to possess the artificial nervous system of Devil Dinosaur, so that it would behave like a dinosaur when operative. With a pilot compartment that would allow Moon Girl to sit inside of it, Dino-Byte is equipped with vocal sensors and a flamethrower in its mouth. Dino-Byte is vulnerable to physical force, which easily knock the Legos it is composed of apart.
History:
(Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur#12 (fb) - BTS) - Inspired by her school's
Lego competition, Moon Girl programmed the movements she observed in
Devil Dinosaur into a robotic artificial nervous system, then uploaded
that into a Lego construction of a triceratops. Creating a pilot
compartment she could sit in and equipping the creation with a
flamethrower in its mouth and the ability to call out "Roo-Roo!," Moon
Girl named it Dino-Byte.
(Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur#11 - BTS) - Moon Girl showed Dino-Byte to Kid Kree.
(Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur#12) - When Kree soldiers, including Pad-Varr and Kar-Vokk, attacked Moon Girl, she summoned Dino-Byte, and her body (with the consciousness of Devil Dinosaur in it at the time) piloted the machine. As Dino-Byte fought the Kree soldiers alongside Devil Dinosaur, Kid Kree was accidentally knocked into Dino-Byte, whose Lego structure was knocked apart. Dino-Byte fell to pieces.
