Real Name: Deck Borate
Identity/Class: Normal human technology user
Occupation: Pest exterminator
Group Membership: Orkin pest controllers
Affiliations: Orkin, people in need of pest controllers (Briscoe family (David Briscoe, Judy Briscoe, Stuart Briscoe, mother)), others)
Enemies: Household pests and bugs
Known Relatives: None

Base of Operations: Mobile across the USA
First Appearance: The Exterminator: No Job Too

Powers/Abilities: Deck Borate has
comprehensive training in pest control and the behavior of pests
(various insects, rats, etc.). When directly tackling pests, he wears
Orkin's Exterminator mech suit; this assembles at will around him and
slides away. This nanotechtronic suit has many functions, including a
patented microenhancement optimetric view screen that slides over the
right eye to identify any tiny access points by pests. The Exterminator
suit can shrink with the wearer down to ant size and has an external
illumination system. The Exterminator suit carries a supply of Orkin
technoid time-expiration capsules that are lethal to insects and insect
nests. It also has an electrically charged gun to ward off pests, but
this has limited power supply.
Height: 5'10"
(by approximation without armor)
Weight: 170 lbs. (by
approximation without armor)
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Brown
History:
(The Exterminator: No Job Too Big#1 (fb) - BTS) -
Like other Orkin pest controllers using the Exterminator armor, Deck
Borate underwent comprehensive training. He once owned a Studebaker car
that had broken down.
(The
Exterminator: No Job
Too Big#1 (fb)) - Borate's latest job was with the Briscoe family and
he met with father Stuart Briscoe and daughter Judy. After discussion,
Borate had his suspicion over the type of pest and transformed into the
Exterminator, his nanotechtronic armor assembling instantly around him.
His optimetric scanner identified the pests' entry. Pressing a button,
his suit shrank with him down to ant-size and he entered the crack
between the walls where his suspicions were confirmed: the pharaoh ants
were the chief pest. Borate set a series of lethal Orkin technoid
capsules timed to detonate and fled the site.
(The Exterminator: No Job Too Big#1) - But the sun
had set and the nocturnal insects returned: millipedes, German
cockroaches, fleas, rats--all controlled by the pharaoh ants. He used
an electric charge gun to zap away the creatures. Almost escaping
through the crack into the house again, he was confronted by an
ant-controlled fly, but it was captured by a hungry spider. Borate
emerged safely into the house and resumed his normal size before
speaking to the Borates about pest control.
Comments: Adapted by Jim Kruger, Pete Garcia, Steve Moncuse.
I'm not sure how Orkin achieved an armored mech suit that shrank with the wearer; maybe Pym particles were leased out?
The Exterminator: No Job Too Big#1 was a flipbook
with Spider-Man: Bug Stops Here.
