History:
(Civil War II#4 (fb) - BTS) - The daughter of a Chicago police officer,
Alison Green grew up to become a banker working in high-end corporate
mortgages. She had a fiancé and loved karaoke.
(Ultimates II#10 (fb) - BTS) - Alison volunteered at a soup kitchen, and once got a speeding ticket.
(Ultimates II#10 (fb) - BTS) - Ulysses Cain, an Inhuman with the power to predict possible futures, predicted that Alison Green would open up her briefcase and release a type of portable black hole generator that would compress the trading floor of the NYSE, along with everyone on it, to a "hyper-dense pinpoint" as part of a large scale plot to destroy the world through economic terror.
(Civil War II#4) - While exiting a bank with a briefcase, Green was suddenly surrounded by armed government agents, the Human Torch, the Inhumans, and the Ultimates.
(Ultimates II#10) - Captain Marvel and the other heroes asked Green to come with them for questioning. She refused and found herself detained. When one agent began getting physical with Green, Blue Marvel ordered the agent to treat her with respect.
(Civil War II#4) - Captain Marvel opened the briefcase and found it was completely empty. Green was detained by S.H.I.E.L.D. while government agents combed through her personal life for evidence, and Green's father and fiancé filed a complaint against S.H.I.E.L.D. for Green being held without cause. Captain Marvel questioned Green, accusing her of being a Hydra agent, but she claimed complete innocence. Nightcrawler teleported in, getting Green to safety.
(Captain America: Steve Rogers#5 - BTS) - Steve Rogers (secretly Hydra-Cap) investigated Green personally and found no connections to Hydra.
(Jessica Jones I#3 (fb) - BTS) - Wanting to expand her operation, Green began looking for someone in the hero community to spill secrets to her. She researched Jessica Jones and discovered that she had distanced herself from all of her friends and wound up in jail. Green pulled some strings to get Jones released. Green hired the Spot to kidnap Jessica Jones.
(Jessica Jones I#4 (fb) - BTS) - A few government agents investigated Green and one of them ended up dead. S.H.I.E.L.D. also investigated the deaths of two new Inhumans related to Green's operations.
(Jessica Jones I#3) - Green walked in on the Spot hitting Jones, who was tied up in a chair, and Green invited Spot to leave. Green explained that Captain Marvel had once arrested her for no reason, then she offered to pay Jones a lot of money to work for her. She released Jones and planned to be in touch in a few days.
(Jessica Jones I#4) - Green (spelling her name Greene) took a call from Spot, who informed her that he'd lost Jones, and Green ordered him to find her. Green chaired a meeting with Japanese businessmen to discuss the profits of her venture.
(Jessica Jones I#5) - Spot found Jones at the police station interrogating a suspect in a case she was working on, and he delivered a note to her to meet Green outside. Jones agreed to give Green intel if she received two million dollars in response, and Green gladly agreed, having been prepared to pay five million. Jones promised intel that would make Captain Marvel vulnerable, and wanted to be there when Captain Marvel was taken down.
(Jessica Jones I#6 (fb) - BTS) - Jones came clean to Green, explaining to her how she was a deep cover agent working with Captain Marvel all to try and find Green and expose her criminal activities, and Jones admitted she had distanced herself from heroes and broken her own life in order to convince Green to find her. Jones assured Green she was now on her side. Green, now trusting Jones more than ever, put a plan in place to take down Captain Marvel, even buying experimental A.I.M. tech that would block her powers.
(Jessica Jones I#6) - Green, Jones, and Spot attacked Captain Marvel in her home, blocking her powers with the A.I.M. tech, then Green ordered Spot to beat up Captain Marvel, even slapping her a few times herself. Jones encouraged Green to reveal her new criminal plans, claiming it would make Captain Marvel suffer more, and Green admitted that she and her organization were going to kill the entire team of teenage Champions in order to start another super-hero civil war. Jones then turned on Green, kicking her in the jaw, and Captain Marvel fired a blast at Spot, defeating him, and thus revealing that the tech Green had purchased was a ruse. Green was arrested, and Captain Marvel promised that she would be thoroughly questioned in order to dismantle her entire new organization.
Comments: Created by Brian Michael Bendis and David Marquez.
Jessica Jones and Captain Marvel wondered if Green was a villain or Hydra agent BEFORE Civil War II, or if the experience of her being arrested that day drove her to become a criminal. It was not clearly determined which was true.
