HARVEST
Real Name: Unrevealed;
possibly Harvest or Agent Harvest
Identity/Class: Alternate Reality (Reality-93060/"Ultraverse")
extraterrestrial (native race and/or dimension unrevealed) being
(possible construct vs. alien being/mutate, etc.)
Occupation: Warrior, collection agent, at least
Group Membership: None known
Affiliations: Tradesmen
Enemies: Exiles (Sienna Blaze-616, Hellbade/Jefferson Kotto, Amber Hunt, Juggernaut-616/Cain Marko, Reaper-616/Pantu Hurageb, Shuriken/Brittany
Chien, Strike/Brandon Tark)
Known Relatives: None
Aliases: Agent Harvest;
"Demon" (from Shuriken), "Second-rate Spider-Man" (used by Sienna Blaze)
Base of Operations: Unrevealed;
presumably the Tradesmen's base, where that is
First Appearance: All-New Exiles#5 (February, 1996)
Powers/Abilities: Flying atop a solid-light thread, Harvest could swiftly travel, navigate, and possibly track individual beings across multiple galaxies (see comments); Harvest may have followed directions to Earth and then tracked the target from there. He/she/it can also swiftly fly through an Earth-like atmosphere without complication.
Harvest can survive in the cold and vacuum of space without any ill effects. Additionally powerful energy blasts from Sienna Blaze and getting hit by a tree trunk swung by the Juggernaut had minimal effect on him/her/it. Getting buried under numerous large rocks could imobilize but not truly harm Harvest.
Harvest can release web-like material from its hands that can swiftly wrap/bind/immobilize others; this material is easily destroyed via fire. Harvest can also project a light-like energy that forms similar sticky cocoons around others who can destroy the webs.
Harvest has large, sharp claws (at least three on each hand) that are useful as weapons in combat and for rapidly scaling rock walls.
Harvest has multiple, large, sharp teeth; although he/she/it was not shown to use them in combat, Harvest could likely bite off someone's hand or otherwise take a chunk of someone as needed.
Harvest is a swift and dangerous combatant, using its claws to slash and/or webs to bind. Even experienced and powerful combatants such as Hellblade or Shuriken find themselves swiftly overwhelmed.
Harvest was described as spider-like, and the times it has multiple eyes fit well with that, as does the webbing (and its Spider-Man-esque "thwip" sound).
Although targeting a specific being or beings on a mission, Harvest would also assault uninvolved beings who got in his/her/its way.
Harvest's face often glowed with energy, obscurring his/her/its facial features.
Height:
Unrevealed (Harvest appeared to be fairly close to Hellblade in size; I
don't think Hellblade's height has been defined, but it's probably
around 6')
Weight: Unrevealed (Harvest is a spindly being of unrevealed composition. It may weigh between 100 and 300 lbs.)
Eyes: Apparently four solid light green (when Hellblade's face glows with energy
Hair: None
History:
(All-New Exiles#2 - BTS) - Hellblade slew one of the Tradesmen.
(All-New Exiles#5 (fb) - BTS) - The Tradesmen sent Harvest to capture or kill Hellblade and his Exiles teammates.
(All-New Exiles#5) - The Harvest traveled from the void, across galaxies, arriving on Earth and then continuing on to the resort town of Hunter Mountain in northern New York, where the Exiles were relaxing/hiding out due to the perception that they had caused the "Ground Zero" damage in Manhattan, New York.
Harvest subsequently assaulted Reaper, covering him in a cocoon, leading Strike and Sienna to engage it, and the conflict swiftly drew in the rest of their teammates. Harvest covered Strike in a cocoon as well while weathering powerful energy blasts from Sienna Blaze. When Amber incinerated the webbling-like cocoon material Harvest sprayed at her, it instead released a light-like energy, which similarly covered her like a cocoon. Juggernaut then swatted Harvest with a tree, knocking it to the ground some distance away, near a number of civilians.
(All-New Exiles#5 - BTS) - Amber burned the cocoons off of the others.
(All-New Exiles#5) - When the unharmed Harvest swiftly leapt amongst the crowd, striking them or slashing them with its claws, Hellblade attacked it, slashing repeatedly, but Harvest proved too swift and soon had Hellblade pinned to the ground. Shuriken demanded to know what the creature was doing, and Harvest responded by tackling her over the edge of a cliff. It coated her in a web cocooon as they fell, but Amber grabbed Shuriken and flew her to safety. Shuriken, Juggernaut, and Reaper then drove off other bystanders to prevent further civilian injuries. As Harvest scaled the cliff, Amber and Sienna used their powers to cause a rockslide that buried the creature.
(All-New Exiles#5 - BTS) - The Tradesmen then arrived, confirmed that Harvest was their agent, that it was still alive, and announced that they were owed a debt for the loss of one of their own. Hellblade tried to offer himself to the Tradesmen in exchange, but they considered his life force to be tainted and unacceptable in trade. When the Tradesmen noted that others in the group were not as tainted, Reaper seemingly slew Juggernaut with his energy scythe (in Reality, he transported the Juggernaut back to Earth-616).Comments: Created by Terry Kavanaugh, Jerald DeVictoria, Ken Lashley, Henry Martinez, and Steve Moncuse.
Obviously traveling at lightspeed would make for swift traveling across galaxies (plural!). The Milky Way is estimated to be 150,000 - 200,000 light years across, for example. Perhaps Harvest was accessing warps or traveling via tachyons...
