Britain and MI13#5 (fb) - BTS) - Farida Hussain considered it
interesting what happened next after she asked a boy if he was going to
marry her daughter, Faiza.
(Captain Britain and MI13#5 (fb) - BTS) - After Dr. Faiza Hussain was chosen by the sword Excalibur to be its bearer, her parents, Farida and Yusuf, were frightened by the battle on Westminster Bridge. While ultimately proud of her, they were also somewhat freaked out by her powers.
To help protect Farida and Yusuf, MI13 provided them with a number that
would get super heroes there instantly.

Britain and MI13#5) - As Faiza and Dane approached her parents' house,
Farida urged Faiza to get off the road and come into the house before
someone saw her. Faiza reminded her that she had a number she could call
to summon a super hero instantly, and Farida noted sarcastically that
that made them feel SO secure. Farida then asked Faiza how dare she
sign up for a dangerous government job without a word to her parents.
Dane awkwardly tried to impress her by speaking to her in broken Urdu (see comments); less than impressed, Farida noted that Faiza's father would want a word.
Farida stood silently as Yusuf initially expressed outrage that a hero who had a predecessor involved in the Crusades had been chosen to meet with a Muslim family. When Dane explained that he and Faiza had become close and that he had reached a decision, Farida asked if they were getting married. Dane clarified that he wanted Faiza to be his steward.
Farida noted to Yusuf that it was always interesting what happened when she said that to a boy, and Yusuf told Farida that it was hard to be annoyed at Dane, which was, in itself, annoying.
Acknowledging that the Hussains had "been done hard by," Dane then explained how MI13 was being refitted as a modern super hero intelligence strike force with a public face, although they were keeping quiet that they were hunting the monsters that had been set free as part of MI13's liberation of Merlin from the Dark Realms. Dane assured the Hussains that Faiza's defensive powers would protect her and that her identity would be kept secret to protect her and her parents.
When Yusuf asked if MI13 was ashamed of his daughter, Farida told him to make up his mind. After Faiza had Yusuf hold the sword Excalibur, he acknowledged that this signified unconditional acceptance.
Dane and Faiza were then called away, but Farida told Faiza that she was going to be worried about her, but that she had already made them proud, and she further noted, "About Mr. Whitman...you could do worse."

Britain and MI13#10) - Mimicking the voice of Faiza, Dracula
duped Yusuf into granting him access to his home, but not before
he had Farida hit the security button that would swiftly summon MI13
agents to their house. 
(Captain Britain and MI13#11 (fb) - BTS) - Farida Hussain, hit the security button, and Motormouth and Killpower were teleported into the Hussain home. Motormouth escaped with Farida, although both were seriously injured, but both Killpower and Yusuf were taken by Dracula and his forces.
(Captain Britain and MI13#14 (fb) - BTS) - Dracula drank Yusuf and Killpower's blood, fatally in Yusuf's case and seemingly so in Killpower's, and transported them to his moon base (whether he drank their blood or transported them to the moon base first is unclear; I'd think the former, but it is unrevealed), after which they were placed within coffins awaiting their reviving as vampires.
(Captain Britain and MI13#11) - Faiza was brought in to see her mother, who was unconscious, hooked up to monitoring equipment, and receiving a blood transfusion. Motormouth related to Faiza and Peter Wisdom how Yusuf and Killpower were taken by Dracula and his forces. Blade advised Faiza that in three days, her father would likely be a vampire as well.(Captain Britain and MI13#15 (fb) - BTS) - Captain Britain told the now vampiric Yusuf of Farida's survival.
(Captain Britain and MI13#15 - BTS) - Yusuf wondered if there was a home for him and stated that he didn't his wife and daughter to see him like this and to have to deal with it, but -- based in part on Yusuf's resisting Dracula's will -- Captain Britain encouraged him to accept his new life and to accept his family's aid in getting through things day by day. Yusuf resolved to see this through.

As the Black Knight attempted to speak to her in Urdu, it would seem likely that she was of Pakistani (or possibly Indian) descent.
