History: (Exiles III#5 (fb) - BTS) - During a
war between humans, mutant and Inhumans, the mutant Emma Frost sent
Sabretooth to track and kill Inhumans, including Kamala Khan's daughter.
(Exiles III#3 (fb) - BTS/Exiles III#5 (fb) - BTS) -
Khan's child and husband Bruno were killed by Sabretooth, an event that
began to change Khan.
(Exiles III#3 - BTS) - After the now-grim and gruff Khan was recruited onto the reality-hopping Exiles team, her team leader Blink of Earth-295 asked how she become so sick and Khan replied that it didn't happen all at once but rather, over time, starting with the deaths of her child and husband.
(Exiles III#4 - BTS) - When the Exiles arrived on
Earth-66881, childlike Wolvie
cried about missing his home world and
Khan admitted that her daughter would have loved Wolvie. She then
expressed a wish that her daughter would have been able to meet Wolvie.
(Exiles III#5 - BTS) - While helping Earth-68151's Nick Fury get back through time in an effort to stop the reality-devouring Time-Eater, Khan and Blink ran into Earth-295's Sabretooth, whom Khan recognized as the man who killed her daughter and husband. Pointing a gun at Sabretooth-295's head, Khan's shot was knocked away by Blink, who tried to convince Khan that Earth-295's Sabretooth was not the same man Khan knew, but Khan insisted he looked exactly like the scumbag who murdered her husband and child. The trio was soon overwhelmed by the Time-Eater's forces and when Khan was shot, she prepared to sacrifice herself to stop some of the Time-Eater's forces, announcing her plans to see her family again before setting a bomb.
(Exiles III#11 - BTS) - When a surviving Khan reappeared with her
own team of Exiles to apprehend Blink's team, a confused Blink asked
why Khan was doing such a thing and Khan replied she was getting her
family back. A fight quickly broke out between the two Exiles teams and
Blink admitted that she didn't want to fight Khan, who explained that
Blink had no choice and that her daughter was waiting on her. Later,
during another confrontation between the two Exiles teams, Blink again
asked why Khan was attacking them and Khan explained how a group of
rogue alien Watchers from Reality-616 had pulled her out of reality a
moment before her death and showed her a world where her daughter and
husband were still alive. Khan then explained that if her Exiles team
successfully captured Blink's team, Khan would be taken back to the
alternate reality in which her husband and daughter survived. After
most of Khan's team were defeated, Khan repeated how she had been shown
another reality in which her daughter lived and tried to explain to
Blink that she would do anything for her daughter. Wolvie then chimed
that he was happy to see Khan alive and commented that if Khan made it
back to her daughter in that alternate reality, Khan should not tell
her what she did to Blink's Exiles. He further remarked that Khan
didn't want her daughter to think her mother was a bad person, at which
point Khan decided to give up the fight, shameful of her actions.
Comments: Created by Saladin Ahmed, Javier Rodriguez and Alvaro Lopez.
While not explicitly stated, Bruno was likely the father of Khan's daughter since he was Khan's husband. It's also possible, however, that Khan had her daughter with another person prior to marrying Bruno and Bruno was the daughter's stepfather. We, the readers, were never really given a distinct explanation.
Khan's daughter's eye color, hair color, height and
weight were impossible to determine, as she was never actually seen.
