Powers/Abilities: The Kresh were a humanoid race with pointed ears and a penchant to turn their soldiers into cyborgs with numerous implants to lengthen their lifespan even after severe injuries and to keep them in the battle. Their soldiers were heavily trained in armed and unarmed combat.

Traits: They were a war-like species, who considered war a way of life. Their soldiers were willing to go into battle even at an extreme numerical disadvantage.

History:
(Silver Surfer III#62 (fb)) - For the Kresh war was a way of life. They had been at war with the reptilian Scalleun for such a long time that many had forgotten when the war had started.

   On a meaningless planetoid, the Kresh's First Wave Platoon under the leadership of Jude fought the Scalleun, who outnumbered the Kresh and nearly wiped them out. Jude, Janus and Shaara were the only survivors, but were left for dead by the Scalleun after a massive explosion.

(Silver Surfer III#62 (fb) - BTS) - The Scalleun went to the Kresh's homeworld and eradicated the whole species.

(Silver Surfer III#62 (fb)) - The three survivors were stranded on the planet until an unidentified being landed there with his starship. They slew the traveler and stole his starship and siphon technology. When they arrived back home, they found their entire race slaughtered. As the last survivors of their species, they returned to outer space and became mercenaries under Jude's leadership.

(Silver Surfer III#61 (fb) - BTS) - The Collector became a regular employer of the three surviving Kresh, who became known as the Collection Agency.

(Silver Surfer III#61) - The Collection Agency received a message from the Collector to meet with him. He hired them to retrieve a virus for him and claimed that he had only recently learned about this virus (the Mondani girl infected with the virus had actually been part of his collection until the Brethren released her). He sent them to the Byrulian Spaceport where the carrier was last seen. He warned them of the Silver Surfer, who was also after the virus (because the Collector had sent him as well). The Collector handed Jude a disc containing information on the virus and the carrier's last location. He ordered the Collection Agency to only bring back the virus if they had it under control because otherwise it would kill them all.

(Silver Surfer III#61 - BTS) - The Collection Agency arrived at the spaceport, located the girl and slaughtered everyone in Moore's bar except for her.

(Silver Surfer III#61) - The Silver Surfer entered the bar and found the Collection Agency standing over the corpses.

(Silver Surfer III#62) - The Collection Agency fought the Silver Surfer, who was temporarily overpowered by them when they used energy-draining siphons they had stolen some time ago. The Mondani girl began to mutate while the Surfer was nearly helpless. Jude tried to shoot the Surfer, but his shot accidentally hit Shaara. The Surfer then caused a feedback surge by shooting Jude's siphon, which apparently slew Jude and knocked out Shaara and Janus. Shaara mourned the death of Jude and sought to avenge his death, but Janus convinced her to leave him be. The Modani girl mutated and infected the Silver Surfer with the virus. Janus told him to leave immediately before they got infected as well.

(Silver Surfer III#63) - Shaara and Janus left the spaceport, taking Jude's remains with them. Though they couldn't find any trace of the virus on the planet, Shaara decided to use a nuclear weapon to blow it up to Janus' shock.

(Silver Surfer III#64) - The Collection Agency, including the reassembled, but mindless version of Jude, was standing behind the Collector when the Silver Surfer arrived to hand over the virus, but the virus was apparently destroyed by the Surfer's cosmic immunity. The Collector tried to send the Collection Agency against the Silver Surfer in revenge, but they had no interest to work for him anymore because they were not fools. They left.

Scalleun

The Scalleun, only called Scales by the Kresh, were a reptilian race. They were ancient enemies of the Kresh race. The war between the two species had started such a long time ago that the Kresh didn't even know when it started. After a battle on a meaningless planetoid saw the Scalleun nearly wipe out the Kresh's First Wave Platoon because the Scalleun had them completely outnumbered, the Scalleun headed to the Kresh's homeworld to finally end the war. They eradicated the Kresh race and left their homeworld burning. The Scalleun were unaware that three members of the Kresh's First Wave Platoon had survived.
