Powers/Abilities: Mary Zero has the mutant power to avoid the visual and auditory perception of other humans. Though rarely seen, Mary is quickly forgotten by others when out of their sight. Animals seem to be able to see Mary, as well as Agent X, for unknown reasons. She briefly lost her powers after the events of M-Day.

(Deadpool Corps: Rank and Foul#1 (fb) - BTS) - After discovering her
mutant power to avoid perception by others, and realizing that she was
existing in a world where no one could see her, a young woman took on
the name Mary Zero and began living a lifestyle where she took what she
wanted and stayed where she chose.
(Agent X#3 (fb) - BTS) - Mary began staying in the guest room of a couple and pretending like they were her parents. Each morning she interacted with the dog Pedro, the only one who could see her.
(Agent X#3) - Realizing it was her birthday and that she could do whatever she wanted, Mary said goodbye to Steve and his wife, then took a gun from a police officer before pretending to rob Oscar at a fast food counter, even though she couldn't be seen. Mary got off the bus in front of Walsh and Wahlfert Jewelers, where she was determined to steal a birthday present for herself. She saw robbers Keith, Brian, and Don steal from store owner Francis, and a woman, Inez Temple, was shot in the robbery. Angry about her present being stolen, Mary Zero snuck into the car with the robbers and drew her gun, but Agent X attacked the robbers and caused the car to crash. When she realized that Agent X could see her, Mary kissed him right on the mouth, and thought how she'd just met the man she was going to marry.
(Agent X#4) - Agent X took Mary out for a meal in a fancy restaurant (Lucsovic's International House of Skaba Putra), and he was surprised when no one seemed able to see her. Mary continued flirting with him, but then accidentally admitted she was only fourteen instead of eighteen. After Agent X battled an annoying customer, Mary followed him out and she complimented his butt. Just then, they were attacked by enemy agents, and Agent X stole a bus while Mary followed. When he got a call, he tossed his phone to Mary, and she answered and, after hearing Sandi Brandenberg's voice, Mary told the woman that Agent X loved her now and he hated whoever was on the phone. Agent X then kicked her off the bus. Later, she found Agent X in the street, but he'd been shot in the throat. Mary tried calling for help and asking civilians, but no one could see her, so she collapsed in tears.
(Agent X#5) - Mary tried pulling Agent X to safety, saying she needed him to wake up and realize he was her boyfriend, when Arcade pulled up with his men and offered medical treatment to Agent X. Revived, Agent X stood up with Mary supporting him, and Arcade discussed building an amusement park for Agent X. Determined to help Agent X, Mary left him a note on the gate telling him not to forget her.
(Agent X#6 (fb) - BTS) - Agent X privately asked Mary to enter the headquarters of the Four Winds organization and to retrieve sensitive documents for him. He and his team pulled away the guards to help cover for her.
(Agent X#6) - Mary delivered the evidence to Agent X at a diner, where his allies Taskmaster and Outlaw couldn't see her. He later used the intel to blackmail the Four Winds.
(Agent X#7) - Mary stayed in the background while Agent X bid farewell to Outlaw, who was leaving the team. She then pledged herself to Agent X, who planned his next mission with Sandy.
(House of M I#8 - BTS) - Mary Zero was one of the millions of mutants who lost their powers when a reality altering spell cast by the Scarlet Witch reduced the number of gene active mutant to a mere 300 worldwide.
(New Avengers I#17 (fb) - BTS) - After the Scarlet Witch removed the mutant powers of most mutants in the world, including Mary Zero, those energies became part of the Collective.
(New Avengers I#18 - BTS) - S.H.I.E.L.D. analyzed the Collective's multiple energy signatures and managed to identify Mary Zero's, along with 50+ other victims of M-Day.
