History: (Avengers VII#35) - The leader of a tribe of proto-humans in the distant past discovered a cave and within it, a club surrounded by drawings resembling the ancient god Khonshu and his followers. Picking up the club, the leader became the fist of Khonshu on Earth, soon turning his entire tribe into worshipers of Khonshu. His growing tribe soon ran afoul of the Avengers of 1,000,000 B.C. and the Moon Knight led the tribe in an all-out attack on the Avengers.
(Avengers 1,000,000 BC#1 (fb) - BTS) - Moon Knight ultimately sided with Fan Fei, the Iron Fist of 1,000,000 BC, in defense of the planet.
(Avengers VII#62) - When Iron Fist's former ally Agamotto appeared and spoke with Iron Fist, Moon Knight approached the two, grumbling and suspicious of Agamotto. Iron Fist assured Moon Knight that Agamotto was a friend and Moon Knight then listened as Agamotto spoke of an impending threat and Iron Fist agreed to assist Agamotto in any way possible. After Agamotto recruited many of his previous allies into a newly-formed Avengers of 1,000,000 B.C., Moon Knight joined the group as well and accompanied them to a mountainous region where they were met by the modern era's Avengers.
(Avengers Assemble Alpha#1) - As the two teams faced
one another, Agamotto was attacked and the Avengers of 1,000,000 B.C.
assumed the modern day Avengers were to blame. During the ensuing
battle between the two groups, the modern day Nighthawk spotted Moon
Knight and assumed him to be the original "Fist of Khonshu." When
Nighthawk asked if Moon Knight was perhaps more reasonable than his
modern day counterpart, Moon Knight uppercutted Nighthawk with his
club, prompting Nighthawk to remark on how Moon Knight was setting the
bar low. Iron Man soon interjected, blasting Moon Knight with his
repulsor beams as he asked Agamotto to control his teammates. The fight
was eventually broken up when the Mjolnirs of Odin and the modern day
Thor collided, causing a shockwave that downed all but Agamotto. The
Multiversal Masters of Evil then arrived on the prehistoric Earth-616
and prepared to battle the recovering Avengers and Avengers of
1,000,000 B.C.
