History:
(Combat Kelly I#19/1 (fb) - BTS) - Muktong Mollie
became a mercenary and leader of her own small band of guerrillas,
capitalizing on Communist North Korean reward money. She hunted US
soldiers Combat Kelly and Cookie Novak for the new bounty offered by
Col. Feng because of the duo's deadly efforts hindering Communist
forces.
(Combat Kelly I#19/1) - Muktong Mollie set a
roadblock for Kelly and Cookie, who rode a motorbike together. Seeking
escape, the soldiers threw themselves into a river but were soon
troubled by nearby North Korean soldiers. Focused on the reward money,
Mollie had her guerrillas shoot the North Koreans and capture the US
soldiers. She marched them to Feng and collected the bounty. Bound,
Kelly and Cookie were thrown into a well to be consumed by a giant
octopus, but Mollie swam in, killed the octopus and helped the
Americans escape, explaining that she needed them alive in order to
collect further bounties on their heads. Before fleeing, Kelly and
Cookie killed the North Korean soldiers, but this alerted nearby
troops. Having stolen money from Feng's safe, Kelly gave it to Mollie
in exchange for her delaying the Communist forces; she happily agreed
to get the money.
(Combat Kelly I#24/2) - Armed with a handgun, Korea Katie tracked down Combat Kelly and Cookie, who had both already been taken captive by fellow Korean insurgent Yalu River Rosie. Having tracked the US soldiers again, Muktong Mollie stopped the execution with a well-aimed knife cutting the nooses and forcefully took the soldiers away in a combat car. But soon other vengeful Communist women joined in a vicious hand-fight, with mercenary Muktong Mollie fighting the murderous intentions of Korea Katie, Panther Lady, Yalu River Rosie and General Olga, each seeking to claim the soldiers. Bemused, Kelly and Cookie untied themselves and collected the weapons, watching the women fight. All five female Communists were then presumably locked up.

Her final fate is unrevealed; was she eventually released into South Korea or was she part of a prisoner exchange...?
Muktong relates to Muk-tong, which is now part of
Seoul, South Korea (although there's a Muk-tong in North Korea too)..
Grand Comics Database suggests Hank Chapman for both stories.

CLARIFICATIONS
:
Muktong Mollie has no known connections to:
Colonel Feng was a North Korean officer keen to
eliminate US soldiers Combat Kelly and Cookie Novak, who had become
notorious for their deadly exploits in hampering the North Korean war
effort. Feng offered a sizable reward for their live capture and
Muktong Mollie caught the US soldiers. Feng paid her and then dropped
the bound soldiers into a well holding a giant octopus, but Mollie
instead killed the octopus and freed the duo, intending to capitalize
on future rewards for the soldiers' seizure. However, once free, Kelly
and Cookie grabbed guns and opened fire on Feng's hideout, killing him
and his soldiers.
