History: (Fantastic Four I#15 (fb) - BTS) - Peggy had attempted several dates with Johnny Storm of the Fantastic Four but Johnny ended up breaking most of them due to his heroics as the Human Torch.
(Fantastic Four I#15) - Peggy
finally managed to get
Johnny to commit to a date in Central Park but as the two drove into
the Park, Peggy appeared annoyed and confirmed with Johnny that she was
angry due to Johnny's past cancellations of their dates. Johnny
attempted to console Peggy, reminding her that she knew he couldn't
help having to cancel. He then assured he was there for her at that
moment in the moonlight and complimented her, prompting Peggy to pucker
her lips for a kiss and remark that she had been waiting for just such
a moment. Johnny then looked into the sky and noticed the
Fantasti-Flare calling him into action and thought how it could not
have happened at a worse time with Peggy. Leaping out of the car,
Johnny Storm transformed into the Human Torch and flew off into action,
apologizing to Peggy for having to leave and hoping she knew how to
drive. Watching the Human Torch fly away, Peggy yelled "Oh no! Not
again!!"
Comments: Created by Stan Lee, Jack Kirby and Dick Ayers.
Apparently, the Torch leaving Peggy in Central Park to see herself home was the last straw for Peggy because we never saw her again in the Fantastic Four. I guess she finally dumped Johnny...
Peggy's eye color was
impossible to determine, as she was only seen from a far off distance
or up close with her eyes closed.
