History:
(Edge of
Spider-Geddon#3 (fb) - BTS) - When Peter Parker's parents died, he was
left in the responsibility of his Uncle Ben and Aunt May. (Edge of Spider-Geddon#3 (fb)) -
As the thirteen-year-old, costumed Spider-Man, young Peter Parker
posted videos on himself in action on social media as "Spider Pete
FTW." After harassing Jameson, host of the daytime news show Up!, by webbing him up live on
television, Peter accompanied his Aunt May and Uncle Ben to Ben's
doctor's appointment, where Peter sat out in the lobby laughing at the
video he had posted. Following the appointment, Peter joined Ben to a
trip to Ben's pharmacy and Peter was told to wait outside while Ben
filled his prescription. Groaning that he had to wait outside, Peter
soon became bored and decided to don his Spider-Man and showboat a bit.
When Ben returned from the pharmacy, he found Peter gone, unaware Peter
was showboating on top of a Jameson billboard. Peter continued posing
ridiculously atop the billboard until his Spider-Sense went off,
alerting him to a danger posed to Ben. A shocked Peter soon heard
gunshots and he rushed to Ben, finding him shot. Thinking quickly,
Peter gave Ben a life-saving blood transfusion. As Spider-Man, Peter
later battled the Wrecker, who was attacking a construction site, and
when he downed the Wrecker, Spider-Man posed atop the fallen Wrecker
and took photos of himself for social media. When the Wrecker insulted
Spider-Man in Spanish, Spider-Man revealed that he understood every
word of the Wrecker's insults but as Spider-Man talked, the Wrecker
activated an electrical device and shocked Spider-Man. Having been
secretly empowered by the blood transfusion from Peter, Ben Parker then
came to Peter's rescue. Upon seeing Ben in action, Spider-Man became
extremely excited and the duo later learned that the Wrecker had only
been attacking the construction site to stop Oscorp from stealing his
family's property to build a new Starkbucks. Spider-Man admitted that
the situation was sad but that the Wrecker could have hurt someone by
toppling a building. When Ben asked Peter what would have happened if
Peter had gotten hurt, Peter replied that Spider-Man had given Ben the
second chance his parents never got and he reminded Ben that no one
knew how much time they had in life just that they can do the right
thing in the right now. He then suggested they do good together and Ben
agreed to assist Spider-Man in crimefighting. Not long after, Peter and Ben battled Mysterio,
during which Peter asked which of them got to use the codename of
Spider-Man. Ben chuckled and later reminded Peter that he was only
thirteen. When Peter replied that it didn't matter, as he could lift a
car over his head, Ben explained that strength did not make a man. As
they departed their lunch, Peter suggested they compromise by calling
themselves "Spider-Ben" and "Spider-Pete," respectively. Ben shot down
the idea, remarking that calling themselves that would be practically
giving away their identities. Peter argued that, for all the public
knew, they were radio DJs Jimster and T-Bird under their masks and he
later commented that there had to be millions of Bens and Peters in the
world. When Ben questioned if there were millions in New York City,
Peter quipped that the public didn't know they didn't commute from
Jersey. Later, during a battle against Kraven, who buried Ben
alive in an attempt to replace him as Spider-Man, Peter was drugged and
he stumbled into the room where a revived Ben was mercilessly beating
Kraven, scared of what was happening to him. Ben halted his attack and
told Peter he was done crimefighting, feeling as if it was too
dangerous and May needed Peter. Peter argued until he saw what Ben had
done to Kraven. Horrified, Peter picked up Kraven, much to the surprise
of Ben, and carried Kraven to the nearest hospital to save his life.
That night, Ben confronted Peter in his room and admitted he was proud
of Peter. Peter grimly responded that no matter how scared he might
get, he would never do what Ben had done to Kraven. Before Ben could
respond, Peter asked Ben not to say he was too young and he remarked
that he had almost lost Ben once and warned against losing Ben again
that way. Ben replied that he had Peter to make sure he wouldn't lose
control again, prompting Peter to smile. (Spider-Geddon I#3 (fb) - BTS) - Eventually deciding
on the codenames of Petey and Spider-Ben, respectively, both Peter and
Ben were recruited into the Multiversal Spider-Army against Earth-001's
vampiric Inheritors. (Spider-Geddon I#3) - While several of the
Spider-Army were discussing recruiting Earth-616's Peter Parker, Petey
chimed in, reminding them that he was a younger, more awesome Peter
Parker. Spider-Ben responded, asking the Spider-Army to ignore his
overexcited nephew and claiming that Petey got that excitement from his
aunt. Petey later accompanied the Spider-Army in trying to infiltrate
the Inheritors' Earth-001 headquarters but the Inheritors discovered
the Spider-Army and attacked, forcing the Spider-Army to scatter. When
Earth-616 Otto Octavius arrived with his squad of the Spider-Army to
rescue Petey's group, Petey was scooped up by Earth-18119's Spinnerette
and brought aboard the Earth-51778 robot Leopardon alongside Ben and
the other Spider-Army members. Once safe, Spinnerette checked on Petey. (Spider-Geddon I#4) - Petey was still present inside
Leopardon, hanging upside down from a webline, as other members of the
Spider-Army discussed the resurrection of the Inheritor patriarch
Solus. He was also present when the Spider-Army kicked Earth-44145's
Spider-Man (Norman Osborn) and Earth-11580's Spiders-Man out of the
group and he remained as the rest of the Spider-Army planned their next
move against the Inheritors. (Spider-Geddon I#5) - Petey joined the Spider-Army
against the Inheritors, battling the younger Inheritors while
Earth-1610's Spider-Man focused on Solus. During the battle, Petey
managed to avoid attacks from the Inheritor Jennix until reinforcements
arrived and he subsequently joined in a massive dogpile on Solus. Once
Solus and the other Inheritors were defeated, Petey entered a portal to
return to his home reality. (Edge of Spider-Geddon#3 (fb) - BTS) - At some point,
Petey died and Ben never told May of Peter's dual identity before she
also died. (Edge of Spider-Geddon#3 - BTS) - A long time after
Petey's death, Spider-Ben stopped at Stacy's bar and recounted his
origin, his adventures with Petey and he desire to keep crimefighting
to the bartender George. After finishing his story, Ben disconnected
the phone charger the bartender had let him use and pulled a photo of
Peter and himself. Comments: Created by Jason Latour, Tonci
Zonjic and Brahm Revel. I could not for the life of me find any mention of
how Peter acquired his superhuman powers in his appearance. One can
presume it was from a radioactive spider bite, like many other Peter
Parker counterparts. Some online sources list War of the Realms: Journey
into Mystery#1 as a BTS appearance of Petey but he is not mentioned by
name anywhere in the issue that I could tell. The closest we get is
Miles Morales mentioning some of the Spider-totems in the Multiverse
and saying there was a Spider-grandfather with his Spider-grandson.
While Morales could've been making a joke at the expense of Petey &
Spider-Ben, Petey & Spider-Ben's relationship was that of nephew
and uncle, not grandson and grandfather, and for all we know, Miles had
encountered grandson and grandfather Spider-totems at some point.
Without further information on Miles' comment, I'm not including that
as a BTS appearance of Petey as it relates to this profile. Mysterio was never actually identified by name but
based on the look, it seems to obviously be a counterpart to Mysterio,
but I guess one could argue that Mysterio might've used a different
alias on Earth-91918. Some online sources even list this Mysterio as
being Quentin Beck but there is no indication of who is under the
fishbowl helmet. It could be anyone on Earth-91918. Profile by Proto-Man. CLARIFICATIONS: The "Jimster" was a radio personality who had
billboards of his show, in which he was teamed with his partner
"T-Bird," posted around New York City. While Peter and Ben Parker
discussed who got to use the Spider-Man alias and what they might call
themselves, Peter suggested "Spider-Ben" and "Spider-Pete," prompting
Ben to turn down that suggestion to protect their identities. Peter
replied that even if they were called that, they could be Jimster and
T-Bird under their masks for all the public knew. Later, Peter took a
photo of Ben and himself with his cellphone and wrote "Jimster &
T-Bird" on the photo. Jimster was only
seen on a billboard. --Edge of Spider-Geddon#3 (fb) Mysterio was a foe of Ben and Peter Parker. During
one battle with the two heroes, Mysterio was attacking while the two
heroes discussed who would get the use the alias of Spider-Man. Mysterio appeared to be much the same as his
Earth-616 counterpart. --Edge of Spider-Geddon#3 (fb) Oscorp was a corrupt business company that stole
(legally or not) property and built new business atop old neighborhoods
and homes. When Oscorp stole the property belonging to Jose Davide Juan
in an effort to transform into his neighborhood into a new Starkbucks,
Juan donned a heavily armored costume to attack Oscorp's construction
site as the Wrecker. --Edge of Spider-Geddon#3 (fb) - BTS George Stacy was the bartender/proprietor of Stacy's
bar, where he heard many things about the two Spider-Men, Ben and Peter
Parker. A long time after Peter died, George happened to be bartending
when Ben came into the bar and webbed a criminal to the bar/barstool.
George then began talking to Ben, who recounted his origin, his past
adventures with Peter, Peter's death and the desire he had to keep on
fighting in Peter's memory. --Edge of Spider-Geddon#3 (fb) - BTS (#3, Starkbucks was a business that the Oscorp company
intended to build atop the ruins of a neighborhood which land Oscorp
had purchased. --Edge of Spider-Geddon#3 (fb) - BTS "T-Bird" was a radio personality who had
billboards of his show, in which he was partnered with "Jimster,"
posted around New York City. While Peter and Ben Parker discussed who
got to use the Spider-Man alias and what they might call themselves,
Peter suggested "Spider-Ben" and "Spider-Pete," prompting Ben to turn
down that suggestion to protect their identities. Peter replied that
even if they were called that, they could be Jimster and T-Bird under
their masks for all the public knew. Later, Peter took a photo of Ben
and himself with his cellphone and wrote "Jimster & T-Bird" on the
photo. T-Bird was only
(barely) seen on a billboard. --Edge of Spider-Geddon#3 (fb) Jose Davide Juan was an older Hispanic man displaced
when his property was stolen by Oscorp in an attempt to turn the
neighborhood into a new Starkbucks. Donning a heavily armored costume
and weaponry, the Wrecker attacked Oscorp's construction site,
threatening to topple the entire building and drawing the attention of
the young Spider-Man, Peter Parker. Spider-Man quickly downed the
Wrecker and posed for a selfie with the fallen villain for social
media, a distraction Wrecker took advantage of to shock Spider-Man.
Seeing his nephew in danger, Ben Parker donned a red facemask and came
to Spider-Man's rescue, beating the Wrecker several times. The Wrecker
was then arrested and during the later news report of the Wrecker's
arrest, Ben discovered that the Wrecker was simply protecting him
neighborhood. Peter reminded Ben that while that was terrible that
Juan's property was stolen, he was still endangering lives by
threatening to topple a building. The Wrecker wore a heavily-armored costume equipped
with large forks (similar to what is on a forklift) attached to his
back/shoulders, a large crowbar on one of his arms and a small
electrical device that could deliver electric shocks. His entire
exoskeleton resembled a sort of engine that likely powered his device
and he also had wheels attached to his back. --Edge of Spider-Geddon#3 (fb) Appearances: First posted: 08/01/2022 Any Additions/Corrections? please let

Earth-91918's Petey should be distinguished from:
Jameson was the host of a daytime news show called Up! that Petey enjoyed harassing.
During a live taping of one of the shows, Peter (as Spider-Man)
interrupted the show and webbed Jameson to his desk. As Jameson
exclaimed what a menace Spider-Man was, Spider-Man filmed himself
grabbing Jameson's coffee cup and posted the video online. Spider-Man
later showboated, posing ridiculously atop a billboard advertising
Jameson's show.
Jameson was only seen on billboards
or in a video.
